Hi,I was just looking to see if anyone has configured incoming customer orders in IFS to find out how this works and how it is implemented?I was hoping that there could be some online material I could look at and whether it is possible to create an incoming CO using REST API’s.We are currently operating on IFS10 update 15Many Thanks,Dan
Hi Everyone,Apologies if I have missed a similar post to my question. We currently operating on IFS Apps 10 update 15.I want to configure a REST API call which is called through a custom menu - I was looking at creating a routing address which will have our API Endpoint. Our API call requires the use of a client ID and Client Secret but we do not have a Token endpoint created as of yet - just an ID and secret. To call the API I’m using (ifsapp.command_sys.Send_Rest_Message) - which works OK - the only issue is that I do not want to share the ID and Secret in the PLSQL block. Is there a way of hiding the secret which can be called from a PLSQL block - or if there is alternative way which would be better for us to utilize? Many Thanks,Dan
Hi Everyone,I was wondering if anyone has discovered an easy way of replicating the logical that IFS uses to create Intrastat reports in SQL? The reason why we are looking to do this is because we would like to see the parts which will appear on the Intrastat report without creating a new one in IFS.I’ve run the debugger in a test environment and this looks to run the following the following line:.Intrastat_Manager_API.Start_Intrastat_Process I’ve taken a look at what this procedure looks to include but before I go any further with this approach I was wondering if there was an alternative way of doing this?We are currently running IFSAPPS 10Many Thanks,Dan
Hi Everyone,We have recently upgraded from APPS9 to APPS10 and have noticed that on the production receipt that the option to Backflush and Defer Backflush is no longer available.Has this capability been removed from APPS10? And if so is there an alternative procedure in APPS 10 to replace this? Many Thanks,Dan
Hi Everyone,Apologies if this question has been answered - not too sure of the search term to look for within the forum. We are looking to amend the automated functionality within IFS to print an additional document template in IFS9 from the customer order - driven by the status of the order. I believe this is controlled from the following check boxes on the document information tab. (please see screenshot below)We would like to print multiple copies of the customer invoice and we also have another output document template within the same invoice report definition.Order History shown below - invoice and delivery note are created automatically. Is it possible to add another document to the automated output? Please let me know if I need to provide any additional information. Many Thanks,Dan
Hi Everyone, I have an end user request for Return Completed RMA Lines to be tracked to the point they have been returned to stock in IFS or scrapped etc. In terms of the RMA process - return completed for us on the line is to show the product has been returned to us. We were looking to see if we can track this to see the point in which the product is returned to stock (if able to do so). The closest I have got to is looking at Inventory Transaction History per Part for the part number and date and see what the transaction is that follows the RMA to see if the product has been returned to stock or scrapped etc. This isn’t the best approach as we cannot be sure that another transaction against the part will happen between the RMA and the part transaction we are interested in.Has anyone else encountered a similar scenario and if so what approach was best to take?I was thinking of using one of the existing fields when booking the RMA into a location to record the RMA number but wasn’t sur
Hi Everyone,We are currently in the process of reviewing the Material Review Board module on IFS9.Was just wondering what the benefits of the MRB module are? And how anyone else has successfully enforced the module within their company. Are there any training document that we could use within a test environment? Many Thanks
Hi Everyone,Apologies if I’ve posted this on the wrong page - Is there some training video’s on the MRB module I could take a look at? I’ve tried looking through gotostage and the community page but can’t find anything. We are currently on IFS9 and are looking to roll out the MRB module. I was hoping to find some user documentation on this to go through a few examples. Is there any available to look at?Many Thanks,Dan
Hi Everyone,I’m new to the IFS Community so apologies if I’ve posted a question that has already been addressed. My company is currently running IFS9 update 16 and I’m just exploring a customer request which a lobby would be suitable for. I noticed, however, that when adding a line graph as a new element that the SQL statement when running the debugger is only fetching 100 rows - (FETCH NEXT 100 ROWS ONLY). This is therefore not showing all the data we need.I took a look at the options within the element designer and data source designer but wasn’t able to find anything. Essentially we are looking for a line graph to show daily results. Is there anything I can do to overcome this or is this standard within IFS?Many Thanks,Dan
