I have never seen this before, but we are on Apps10 UPD 12 and whenever our billers are printing out invoices or hitting the print preview, they are getting different totals on the invoice layout each time. We don’t have anything custom on our invoice so I don’t understand why this is happening. It seems like the first total that pulls up is for another billers total amount that is trying to be created at the same time. When previewing the invoice, it pulls the incorrect amount once, then twice and the correct on the third. Other times, it pulls up correct first time. Yet others, it is only incorrect first time and then correct the second. Anyone else experience this or have a solution as to why it is happening?
We are running a monthly customer proposal and would like to be able to charge interest for the previous month’s open invoice amount and interest not paid, basically making it a monthly compound interest. Does anyone know how to make this work on the interest template or have any information that would help at all? Even a custom method would help us at this point. Any help appreciated!!!!We are currently on IFS Apps10 Update 6
We have a customer in Germany that requires .xml reporting for invoices. We tried using a .rdl report from IFS to generate the .xml successfully. However, the report shows our Parent US company name on it and not our subsidiary from Europe. Even though the invoice is for the other Company (FR200)in IFS. How do we update/fix the .rdl to have the Europe company name on the report instead of US?
Can someone please tell me where the Schema’s are located for EDI documentation. In Apps 8 they were stored in the following path that is no longer in Apps10:Open IFS Applications2. Navigate to IFS Solution Manager/Integration/Interface Browser/By Module/Internet Transaction Services/BizApi's 3. Click on the BizAPI name you need a schema file for 4. Then, at the very top of the window, select the pull-down menu which currently displays "General Information", and then select 'Request XSD Schema'."
Does anyone know of a way to Mass update scrap factors for unlinked templates in IFS? We have a bunch or parts that need to be updated and the link to the templates were broken. So if we update the template, the select number of parts are not updated as well. If anyone also knows how to mass update standard operations by part number that would also be very helpful for us!
We are trying to add downtime reporting in IFS for our Maintenance team. We are using Apps10, where tasks have been introduced. I see start and finish times, but i don’t see anything about downtime. Is there someplace to record this that someone is using that we can also use?
We are updating to IFS10 currently, and have created new Lobbies for each base profile. I am able to change and push them out to the base profiles, however; if someone has created their own start/home page, it saves that to their personal profile. For those users, is there a way i can have the base profile home page overwrite their personal profile without clearing their personal profile or manually updating all 600+ users personal profile? Any help would be awesome!
I tried to set a newly created Lobby as a homepage for a base profile. I thought i got it to work, however when the end users log in, they get the following error message. I think it is because the Lobby is set to my personal data rather than generic for all. The steps i took to do this:Go to Options and chose the User Profile. Then clicked edit base profile and chose our Quality base profile. Then with that base profile active in my screen, i searched for the Quality Lobby and opened the page. Clicked on Options>General and clicked Use current to make that Lobby the home pageWhat am i doing wrong/missing?
