HiSaudi Arabia are making E-Invoice mandatory on a phased basis - lots of useful information here:https://zatca.gov.sa/en/E-Invoicing/Pages/default.aspxWe need the invoices need to be in both English and Arabic. My question is where do we store the Arabic translation for items like customer name, address etc?IE fields which do not have a direct translation object (like payment terms do for example).
HiOn the Company within Tax Control, Invoice Tab there is setting to “Use Tax Invoice”: I’ve never used it, but am interested to know when or why you would? Is it country specific?I notice that this then can be set on the invoice series. I can find the IFS help on it:Use Tax InvoiceIf you select this check box, tax invoices will be printed when true tax transactions are created within invoicing and payment processes except when advance invoices are created. Tax invoices will show the details of the nature and value of goods sold or services provided and amount of tax.But it does not say when or why it would be used and how it determines the split of goods/services. Delivery type perhaps? Thanks in advance.
HiWithin the form Tax Transactions, there is a function to ‘Calculate Income Amount’. Can anyone tell me what it does? My guess is something to do with US1099 reporting but I get nothing on IFS help.
Hi IFS Finance folk,Does anyone know if it’s possible to ‘Merge’ several Business Plans into one? I can see that we can aggregate Planning Units within the same Plan, or copy an entire Plan to create a new one. However I cannot see an option to merge several Business Plans into one.I have a situation where a Company operates 3 very different businesses within the same legal entity. They do not want multiple companies because it is one company, however they want to create different business plans for each business area and be able to report them either seperately or aggregated.Any ideas?
HiI am writing a BR Report in Apps10 but am getting no data from the Information Source “GL Balance Set Analysis”. I’ve made the following checks:I can see the data in ‘GL Balance Analysis’ with the same user. The GL Authority Class is MAX for my user The user has all 4 end user BI Permission Sets and BI_VIEW_Access The GL Balance Set is based on Business planning data of which my user is an Adminstrator. Just in case I’ve also added my user to a User Group and Budget Process UserReports I’ve written in the past have stopped returning data. What have I missed?
HII have a project where we use the Customer Order Prepostings to derive a code part. Long story but we cannot use posting controls or code string completion for this code part.Everything is fine except for Orderless RMA Credit Invoices. I don’t seem able to add prepostings onto the RMA and of course there is no connected customer order. This pushes the invoice postings into error because the code part is mandatory.Any ideas gratefully received.
HiWhen using Business Planning we intend to use a planning unit with Periodic Balances for Income Statement and one with Accumulated balances for Balance Sheet. When you create simulated postings from a depreciation plan, it’s possible to transfer these to a Business Planning unit. However you are unable to transfer the Balance Sheet postings to a planning unit with Accumulated Balances. The way my client works is that they want to forecast All Balance Sheet planning units with Accumulated Balances. One benefit is to make such balances directly comparible with Group Consolidated Accumulated Balances. What are other peoples experiences with this? I am aware it’s new functionality but I think we should have the option to use either periodic or accumulated.
HiI’d be interested to hear how anyone has handled Composite VAT / Tax rates on sales? For example: A Package Part with multiple components each with different Tax Codes and Rates. Or you have a sales part that contains several components with different rates. When you raise the invoice the Invoice, the tax amount needs to be the ‘weighted average’ tax amount of the individual components, but you show only a single line. Thanks
HiHas anyone encountered the issue with sending Customer Order EDI Invoices too soon? In a small number of cases, the Customer will reject the invoice because the goods are still ‘in transit’. We are not using Delivery Confirmation in these cases. So we want to delay the sending of the invoice by say 5 days. We cannot use the ‘Invoice Date Offset’ setting that will delay Print/Send because we want to account for the revenue with a real invoice. We also have considered ‘Interim Posting of Outstanding Sales’ but this only accrues for the revenue - we want the invoice on the Sales Ledger. In summary, we want the Invoice in the ‘PostedAuth’ status but the Sending Delayed. Perhaps there is a way in connectivity or something?
