Hello community. We are looking for options on if and how to send critical place or task notes to a technician using FSM mobile and have them appear in the Important Information box. Scenario; a task is assigned to a field technician and there are is a specific note type (i.e. “Alert”) on the related place record. Can we have this appear in the Important Information field on the Home Screen? Thanks,Richard
Hello community. Looking for guidance on how to:limit the ability to create and saved searches in the web client to specific roles how to remove the ‘make public’ option for roles that do not have this permissionThanks,Richard
Wondering if anyone can steer me towards where I can get a calendar of FSM6 update release dates. Looking to plan our upgrade projects for 2024 - 2026 into our overall IT master schedule.Thanks.Richard
We are looking for some sort of documentation containing clear guidelines on:what type of change requires a Refresh Cache (FULL) e.g. business rules app_params screen designs client scripts scheduled processes etc. when is it recommended to execute the Refresh Cache (FULL) anytime off hours scheduled outage Is there a technical paper to help explan this. Up until now we have been given conflicting guidance on this and need to get a better level of understanding of the When and Why.
We recently had a user of FSM6u7 webclient report that some values in numeric fields (i.e. qty in the task - labour and expense tab) are not visible. Other users are not having the issue when looking at the same records. A new profile was created from scratch (not copied/cloned) and the user is having the same issue but others are not when logging in with the same duplicated credentials. This seems to be pointing to a hardware issue but the user has not had any changes in hardware nor configuration of the hardware (that they are aware of). Looking to see if anyone has any insight or experiance with this type of issue.
I’m hoping I have not missed anything with the answer to my question in a previous thread but here goes. As we prepare to enter onto an upgrade path for our instance of FSM6, we are looking to incorporate the ability to execute our regression test plan with a degree of load beyond a few testers manually key-ing test cases into the system. Has anyone found or better yet successfully used any tools that can be loaded with scripting to replicate the day-in-the-life of the business? Ideally we’d love to have the ability to take a day’s worth of transaction from our production system and replay them into the upgraded test system because as we have learned, what passes in non-production with no-load may not work in the real world. Any direction at all would be appreciated. Cheers,Richard Spence
We had a contract billing run the other night which generated (Extract To Vouchers) 9000+ rows / approx. 2500 contracts. The voucher is in HOLD status and two of these rows (same contract) are showing error_status IVBP. Up until now all voucher batch errors have been for single transactions so easy to correct and re-post. The issue with the bill to place id has been corrected but can anyone suggest the best way to handle this so that we can re-run the voucher and allow the invoices to post? Thanks,Richard
Hi,Can anyone share a best practice recommendation on how long the mx_u records should be retained for and if there is any value in archiving the data purged from the db. Thanks, Richard
Does anyone know if there is a table similar to metrix_method or metrix_method_param in FSM6 that retains the details of the successfully completed jobs? I am looking for the selection criteria for a particular run_id (mm_id).Thanks,Richard Spence
Can anyone provide the recommended specifications (size, resolution) for the LOGIN and SPLASH images for both FSM WEB and SMART environments? I am not able to find anything in the FSM6 reference guide.
