Custom Event and special characters

Hello Everybody,In a Custom Event, the content of a variable is automatically filled by the system. This means that, if in a variable there is a single quote, the Action fails.For example an Event that is fired when the master part is modified and it requires the description. DECLARE  description_  VARCHAR2(32000) := '&NEW:DESCRIPTION';  ...BEGIN  ... If the description is something like “This is the ‘description’”, the Action fails with an SQL sintax error.Is it possible to prevent such error ?

Event using error_sys

Hello Guys,my request is to stop generating a shipment when a row is found in a custom LU and interactively this is working good: with error_sys a pop-up appears and the shipment is not generated. The problem is when the user run the creation of the consolidated pick list in background. If the row is found, then no shipment is created. How is it possible to just skip that shipment and let the procedure go on and created the others ?Thanks to anyone that can help me.

Single quote in background Event

Quick report parameter in Custom Menu without parameter window

Hi All,Is it possible to run a Quick Report from a Custom Menu without showing the parameter window ?Just to be more clear. It is a SQL Quick Report. The SQL command is something like select a,b,c from view where d=’&parameter’.Now my question is: when it is invoked by a Custom Menu, I don’t want to see the window that is asking me for &parameter, I just want to run it and see the results.Is this possible ?Thanks.

Attach migration job output file to an email

Hello Everybody,One of my users need to download the General Ledger Account Report to excel. It consist of a very huge amount of rows then it is not possible for him to download. With a migration job it is possible to create a csv file into a folder but I need to attach it to an email. When I try to do that, there is an error:Error while sending data...Caused by: javax.mail.MessagingException: IOException while sending messageCaused by: java.io.FileNotFoundException: F:\DATA_MIGRATION\test_luca.csv (The system cannot find the path specified)I have tryed many different formats for the filename but none of them is working.Do somebody have a suggestion or any idea on how to do that ?Thanks !!!

OnCloud Error: "HTTP 403 Forbidden"

Hi All,we’re runng APP10 UPD8 OnCloud and we get the error HTTP 403 Forbidden when trying to access an API. The API is registered in Aurena. With Postman it works good.What can we do to solve this issue ?Thanks.

Site security in custom LU

Hi All,I was told that creating a custom field in a custom logical unit and referencing it to the site, IFS would give access only to the rows that the user is allowed to. Unfortunately it doesn’t work. Any user can see all the rows. Which is the right approach to solve this problem ? Saved search is not a solution because the user can still modify the parameters and get other site data.Thanks to all the people that can help me.

How to copy the RMB "Send Order Confirmation" from Customer Order to Customer Order Lines

Hello,Is it possible to have the RMB->Send Order Confirmation also in the Customer Order Lines ? We’re running IFSAPP10 mod 8. I have checked with the Debug Console trying to find out something that can be useful, but nothing happens when choosing the option. Can someone help me ?Thanks.

Error in creating a Custom Field

Hello,We’re running apps10 upd8 on cloud. I’m creating a new custom field on the CustomerOrderLine LU. It is a read-only field, type Select, and the select statement is:SELECT IFSAPP.CURRENCY_RATE_API.Get_Currency_Rate(:contract, 'EUR', 'B', :DATE_ENTERED) from dualThe data type is Number with format Currency.But at the end it is giving me this error:I need to use the creation date of the row.How can I avoid the error ?Thanks to anyone that can respond.

Problem in calling API from PHP

Hello Everybody,We are running Apps10 in the cloud. With POSTMAN I can access the api that gives me back the part catalog fields. I have copied the PHP code from Postman but it doesn’t work. It gives me back this screen:I have tried also the Javascript code and it doesn’t work either. But if I start chrome with --disable-web-security, it works.Now the question is: what do I need to let the PHP code work succesfully ?Thanks to anyone that can help.

Chane a parameter in a custom event

Hello,The sales team asked me to add a new CF on the customer order and this CF has to be into a custom LU that they have to manage themselves. We have almost 30 different sites on the same application and nobody is allowed to see the data of the other sites.My concern, obviously, is to give them the possibility to manage only the rows of the custom LU that belong to them. For doing that I have created a custom LU with a field that is referenced to the view site_cfv, not a plain text field. I’m hoping that, with this kind of field, the application will give me only access to the sites that I can manage/see. But in this case I cannot set a default value.In the table view of the custom LU, I will hide the contract field and with an event I will set it as the default site. Now, having said all this stuff, my question is: is there a way to change the value of a parameter and obviously return it modified ?Thanks.

Cannot find custom page

Hello,I have created a custom LU with 3 fields, created the custom page, inserted into a custom tab, and everything was working good. After a test, the users told me that one field was unnecessary, and they wanted to remove it. Then I proceeded this way:removed the custom tab removed the custom page unpublished the LU removed the field published the LU created the custom pageNow, when I add the custom page to the custom tab, I cannot find the page in the list.I know that, to make it easier, I can hide the field but this is not the first time that this kind of problem happens and the solution is …. wait until the next day. In fact the next day the custom page “magically” appears.Why this happens ? Is there a background job (maybe in the night) that rebuild something ?We’re running IFS 10 update 8.Thanks.

Custom field type reference

Hello,The Quality Team has requested to store some data that in the standard environment doesn't exist.In details they want to manage the daily repairs they do during the production.The repairs are connected to an existing MRB case (Quality Management->Quality Assurance->Material Review Board->Case->MRB Case).What they need to store (and of course put in a report that will be developed later) is:1.MRB Number2.Part number3.User ID4.DateThere could be many part numbers in many dates for the same MRB Number. Each of them represent a single row of the table.For doing this it is necessary to create a new LU, isn't it ?The new LU has to be inserted into a new tab in the MRB Case LU, taking the field [1] from the header: how to obtain it ? As a parameter ? As a read-only field ?The field[2] has to be taken from the components of the shop order written in the header: my thought is to create a field type "Reference", but how to select only the rows belonging to the order ?And finall
