I have just been told we are changing Bank to NatWest and will need a new facility to upload our BACs files. I’m assuming there is no direct upload from IFS that can be set up, so we will need to source a intermediary software that sits between IFS and NatWest. Do any companies out there use this type of software with IFS and recommend any companies to look at?Thanks Trudy
In Apps 10 we want to add images to some lobby elements. We use OpenAsset to store our images and can resize images for upload to IFS. Is there a document that can provide the actual image size required to use with below sizes:1x11x21x42x12x22x44x4 Without accurate sizing we seem to lose some elements of the image. Thanks Trudy
We are using different prefixes for our Cost of Sales - projects (C) and Overhead (O) on Purchase Orders.We have found that when using Manual Supplier Invoices or Expenses we can stop people using the wrong Cost Code Prefix through configuration / setup, but we cannot find anywhere to do this for Purchase Orders. This is causing problems in the back end and the Finance Team are moaning about the extra work to correct the posting.Does anyone know if this is possible before I go ahead and get a new custom event created? We recently started using No Part Purchase Orders in Apps 10 - Our accounts team decided in their infinite wisdom to manually add the Posting Proposal, as the PO had not been receipted and closed by the business.They added the PO Nr in the Manual Supplier Invoice screen, creating the linked invoice.Finance manually added the Posting Proposal on the Invoice - so it matched and paid the manual supplier invoice. The PO was not receipted and closed before the invoice was paidposted, and this has now created a PO liability.How do we get rid of this PO liability - we are unable to reverse Voucher Type O? You cannot match the PO to the Invoice now if is fully paid.Any help would be gratefully received.
Struggling to get the Recruitment section to work. Have set up the basic data but having difficulty with the personnel Requisition Screen and Advertisement tab. Does the information on this tab pull through from another screen, as I cannot update/edit when in confirmed or Approved status, but not visible in Prepared status.
I have created a Safety Cert, ticked the Safety Cert box, and added to the Course Specification. When I run the event it update the Course on the Employee File, but not the Safety Cert on the Employee File., nor does it go on the Safety Certs screen unless I add manually on the Employee File. Am I missing a piece of set up or does it just not do this? Any help appreciated.
Can anyone advise how to get IFS report/SQL to calculate the number of days sick leave days in a specific month e.g. November, when the Absence may be registered over two months as one occurrence /absence ID. Example: 3 days in November (last the days of month - M/T/W)2 days in December (first day of Month T/F)One occurrence of 5 working days I would like to report 3 days in November and 2 days in December
Has anyone used the Special Events Lobby Element ‘HR My Employees Special Events List’, Data Source ;HR_MyEmployeesSpecialEvents’.We want to be able to change the Work Jubilee dates from every five years to 2, 5 and 10, but can only find a view ‘Reminder_Special_Events_Sub’ but are unsure how to implement the change. We plan to change the IFS view, but copy and create our own version of the view. Anyone done this before or can give advice on how to changer the Jubilee dates in the Code?
We have launched Supplier Invoice Authorization using Instant Authorisation screens in Apps 10 recently. We are not yet using POs. Once Authorisers have completed their authorisation we are unsure what screen to give them access to. They want to be able to search for their invoices to see current payment status and see a copy of the invoice which is attached as part of the process.The AP Supplier Invoices Analysis has the information they need, but I only want them to have read only to their own invoices and not across the global company. Is there some way to restrict access to only see their own invoices details?
