Morning all,I’ve recently had a request to delete subsequent approvals if a specific approval has been rejected. e.g. below: If the PROC REVIEW Request is rejected then the 3 approvals below would be deleted.I’ve managed to create a custom event as per below, which executes a package to handle the removal:SQL Package: PROCEDURE Remove_Supplier_Approvals(i_Key_Ref VARCHAR2) ISPRAGMA AUTONOMOUS_TRANSACTION; -- p0 -> __lsResult p0_ VARCHAR2(32000) := NULL; -- p4 -> __sAction p4_ VARCHAR2(32000) := 'DO'; /*Created by RK to automatically remove values from the approvals screen*/ cursor GET_DATA ISSelect distinctOBJID,OBJVERSION from approval_routingwhere LU_NAME = 'SupplierInfoGeneral'and KEY_REF = i_Key_Refand description in ('Supp Reactivation - Acc Payable Review','Supp Reactivation - Procurement Confirm','Supp Reactivation - Reactivate Account')and APPROVAL_STATUS is null;BEGIN --IFSAPP.Language_SYS.Set_Language('gb'); -- This requires logged in user to have privi
Afternoon, Has anyone ever found a location for the Approval Creator? Basically, what I’m attempting to create using a custom event is to email the creator of the approval process if the approval line is ‘Approved’ I’ve checked some of the views such as Approval_current_step and Approval_Routing and neither of these have the creator of the approval process. Any ideas? Kind regards,Ryan
Afternoon,I’ve seen this asked a few times however, I still can’t find any examples to fulfil this requirement. I’m wondering if someone can help.I’m attempting to rename the Customer Invoice (CUSTOMER_ORDER_IVC_REP) to the invoice_No. Instead of the file returning as a blank name.pdf it would instead display 12345678.pdf(an Invoice number). Please note, we’re using a crystal report instead of the default IFS report (I suspect most customers are)When I attempt to click ‘Print’ on the report format & Output and click ok I seem to get an issue.I thought the configuration below would work however, it seems to report an issue:Config: Issue I’m receiving:Any ideas on to fulfil this requirement?
Afternoon,I’m looking to split our test environments over two different middleware servers. We currently have 5 different test environments which are located on a single windows server. What I’m thinking of doing. Instead of installing from fresh is to clone the VM, sysprep etc and amend any config files within the two instances I bring online over on the second middleware server. Can anyone see any issues doing this or any tips if you’ve did similar before? We’re currently running on Apps 9.Regards,Ryan
Hey all, We have a crystal report that handles our Customer Orders (Report Definition: CUSTOMER_ORDER_IVC_REP). I’m just wondering is it possible when a user uses the print dialogue box in IFS to email a Customer Order to themselves that the PDF has the invoice number in the title?E.g in the box below:ExampleKind Regards,Ryan
Good Morning, I have a Crystal Report which utilizes an IAL I created. When I run the report as IFSPRINT or IFSAPP in PLSQL or CRYSTAL Reports the data is returning correctly. However, when I attempt to run the report in IFS Quick Reports no data is returned. I thought it may have been permissions however, I thought if that was so, when I ran it as IFSPRINT in Crystal Reports it would also have thrown the same error message? I’ve also checked the views within the IAL and the accessibility seems to be correct.Example below, this is a report that just displays a company ID while logged in as IFSPRINT.Crystal ReportsIFS Quick Reports Permissions for IAL and view:
