I have successfully been using an “App password” and SMTP AUTH with no problems up until about 2 weeks ago. I have made no changes or updates to FSM and the user account is still active and able to send emails through Outlook.Does anyone know why this may have happened and also are there any instruction on setting up OAUTH & SMTP with O365 in FSM
Is it possible to change the date format to not include time? For example we are trying to change the “Planned Start Date” for a task so that it only requires a data not a date and time.
Hello I have found the following in “help” from FSM regarding Outlook Integration http://imaapp13/FSMServer_ImageX_Prod/Help/FSMReferenceGuide/AboutOutlookIntegration.html However I am unable to find any further info on how to obtain the optional add-in. Does anyone have any info on this?
I can see that FSM 6 is now on update 23, however I see no way of downloading the installation files. I have raised a call with the support center, however after 2 days I have had no response. Is there some other formal way of downloading the installer files, it seem strange there isn't a downloads page like with every other software vendor.
We are currently using FSM 6 update 17 and have the IOS app version 6.10.7795. I am wondering if this is the latest version of the mobile app and if not, how do i get the latest version? I understand that you need to create a custom app and upload it to ABM, but where do I get the latest version of he IOS app from?
I am using FSM with a SQL database and wish to produce a new Test DB from my existing PROD DB. I have tried restoring a backup of the Prod DB to the test DB and this doesn't work as it says DB not available. I have tried doing and export from the Prod DB to the Test DB but I get an error about writing to a read only table. Does anyone have any advice?
I am trying to refresh the test DB with up to date data (SQL) with the a backup of the PROD DB, however when I restore the DB (either full or files and folders), and then try to connect with the client app it says it cannot find the DB. I am sure it is possible but I must be missing something simple. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hello I am curious if IFS have a hosted FSM product or if it is supported in say an Azure hosted server environment? We currently have 1 x 2019 server that provide both the web and SQL services for FSM and we would like to move this to the cloud.
We have had a external penetration test done recently and they have advised that we disable SSL 2.0 and 3.0. Use TLS 1.2. is this possible in IFS specifically FSM release 6 update 10?Also they advise we reconfigure the service to use a unique Diffie-Hellman moduli of 2048 bits or greater, is this ok?BTW I know how to do these in IIS/Windows just worried that I will break the application or access. application to work
I am trying to set up scheduled SQL backups of the IFS databases, however I get an error saying “Agent XPs Component is Turned Off as Part of the Security Configuration for this Server”. I understand how to enable the Agent XP component, but wanted to check that this hasn't been turned of deliberately as part of the IFS installation?
We have IFS FSM and it is currently installed on a Server 202R2 server and wish to move it to Server 2019 as 2012R2 goes end of life next year. Could someone please advise how this is done and if there is someone I can speak to in support about this as currently they just say its nit a bug so not supported.
Hello I am new to supporting servers with IFS installed and wanted to know if it is ok to install SQL updates regularly on the database server that hosts the IFS database?
