Hello, I am setting up customer contacts screen in Aurena. I am attempting to organize the columns in a consistent way for the user using page designer. I have found that the ordering of the content in page designer works when i view the information in table view, but not list view in Aurena. How do you do this for the list view in Aurena? Additionally, i’d like to select the default sort criteria for Aurena (similar to having a saved search in IEE with Sort criteria set on startup behavior). Is this available in Aurena? If not, when will this functionality be available? Thanks!Carrie
Hello,Is anyone aware of a way to create a link to a lobby in Aurena? We have UPD9 and can only do a Navigation Link to Pages, but no Lobbies. I can see that being valuable, Like how Customer 360 is embedded in Customer Pages. It would need to pass parameters.Thanks,Carrie
We have noticed in Aurena that currency format does not come through in aurena. It shows up as just a raw # with no , deliminators. Is this on the roadmap to address? This is an issue for us as we look at Currency Based data it’s very hard to understand what the values we are entering are.Thanks,Carrie
We recently upgraded to Apps 10 with a local virtual infrastructure, as opposed to the cloud based option. We now would like to start taking advantage of using Aurena within our environment while not connected to our local network. We have been able to get Aurena to function while connected to our network locally or through VPN, however we are uncertain of what we need to do to get this opened up without the VPN connection. Do we need to have public facing IPs? What Ports need to be open? What is best practices for this setup? We have found minimal information in the IFS Help Resource and thought reaching out here might get us closer to where we need to be! Thanks in advance!!

Hello,I am hoping someone can help me with this. We leverage contacts for CRM and Quotations. We continue to notice that there is not a standard phone formating for contact phone number. We can you (XXX)XXX-XXXX, XXX-XXX-XXXX, or XXXXXXXXXX. Is there a way to set a default formating so that when users enter the phone number it appears consistently within IFS? Thanks!Carrie Tietjen
Hello, We have had our system for awhile and we have created a bit of a mess with Customer Contacts. We have the same person tied to a Customer Record 3 times due to different Addresses. We’d like to cleanup these contact records which we can do from a CRM perspective by reopening BOs and switching the Contact to the appropriate one etc. However, we are running into an issue when the contact is on a customer order that is invoiced/closed or cancelled or a BO that is Cancelled. Is there a way to work around this issue? Additionally - Is there a better way to get these contacts out of the system? It would be idea to have a magic button that would say duplicate contact/merge record type of button to merge duplicate records together. We have a lot of this and as we use CRM more and more we want to keep our system clean as much as possible. Thanks,Carrie
Hello,I have run across this now a number of times where I end up stuck with junk data due to a cancelled item (Order, Project, Business Opportunity, Work Task etc). I’d really like the ability to reopen a cancelled item and then be able to cancel it again. Ideally this function could be limited to a small number of people using permissions. However, I feel like the locking of cancelled records is very unfortunate from a data cleanliness perspective as well as from a user perspective. We have had users accidentally cancel items before and then you have to start back over from scratch. Could this be added to an Idea wall of some sort?Thanks,Carrie Tietjen

Hello,We were working through using CRM Panel and identified that when a contact is in the database multiple times, you can see that person tied to multiple customers (we have not tested what happens if contact is in as person twice). Since you cannot delete contacts once they have content on them, we use the block contact as a way to remove them from selection in IFS. Is there a way to mitigate this issue in CRM Panel? Good Morning,I was wondering if there is a plan to put Representatives on Projects or Support Agreements in IFS. This functionality is already available on Leads, Business Opportunities, Business Activities, and Customer Orders (back end). It seems like the only area that representatives has propogated to on the Back End of the Sales Cycle is Customer Orders. Is there a plan to integrate this functionalit into Projects and Support Agreements as well? This would be a help to leverage the same structure to assign Account Managers/account representatives and how they assign out to these various areas. Thanks, Carrie Tietjen
We are looking at using Service Contract for the first time. We know how to set this up to invoice for a set amount of money for each period. However, we are wanting to set it up to invoice for resources used (actual Time, Expenses, and Materials) entered on Work Orders/Tasks connected to the contract on a periodic basis. Example: We have multiple work orders and tasks that we have done for the customer over the past two weeks, and we want to generate 1 invoice for all this work leveraging the Customer Agreement to determine the sales price table. We thought using service contract would allow us to do this without needing to go each work order/task individually. Is it possible for this to work? Thanks!
Hello,We are working with our Customer Contact Management for leveraging IFS as our CRM. We have our customer sites split out as separate customers to allow for different rep assignments and visibility at the site level of a Customer 360 view. We are running into an issue where the Customer Contact’s Manager is located at a different site (therefore a different customer in IFS). Is there a way around this? Is this functionality on the roadmap for IFS? The only workaround i found was to add the manager to the site where his/her employee was located. Thanks! Carrie
