We are in IFS10 We are trying to use the MRO Shop Order Screen to Receive non-functioning parts.Then make a determination that the Parent Part is bad but salvage some child parts (Piece Parts). We would like these child parts to end up in inventory. We want to track the labor and cost of the child (piece) parts.The MRO Shop order screen does not allow us to add records at this time. Possible basic data set up that needs to be completed.
I am using IFS10 Aurena I have an Engineering Part Hierarchy created in Engineering Part Revisions. I want to move / copy / push the entire Hierarchy to inventory parts. 21 Total Parts.Can this be done all together or do I have to do each part individually?
I want to create a Serialized Equipment Object that contains the Parent Part and all child parts from Engineering Part Hierarchy. I have been able to create the Inventory parts but now would like to create the Equipment.Engineering Part Hierarchy was part of this post Engineering Part Navigator - MULTILEVEL to Inventory Parts | IFS Community I created this equipment object one part at a time. I feel like I should be able to create it based on the Hierarchy. I need to create about 50 of these at different sites and would rather not do them individually. Thank You
We have implemented several new document classes and moved a bunch of user’s to Aurena ClientWe are finding that our new document classes don’t allow anyone except the user that uploads the document attachment the ability to view the document.We are in the Change Request and the new document class can’t be viewed but the old one can.This is a new user and has not been placed in any specific user groups to get access to either document class. Please help.

In Aurena (Upd 13) on the Change Request Form we are using the Object Connection to point to Equipment Functional Objects.Out of the box things are working good.We would like to be able to search via a Custom Field. Which we can get to show but we get an error when searching. Loc is the custom field.When we search with the Loc Column we get the following error:An internal server error occurred. Hello, I need to find a way to view when a Aurena screen change was published. We have a screen that has gotten some configuration stuck and will not save without error’s. Would like to track down a way to see publish actions that have taken place on that screen to try and see what caused this and possibly rollback to that timeframe. Thanks in advance.
We would like to add Tooltips to our Aurena screens. Currently a tool tip pops up but it is only the Label Name repeated.
I am looking to build a single query statement that pulls back all parts that are part of a given Part Structure. If I look at the Tree view in Engineering Part Navigator it shows all parts that are part of the system. I need the ability to query the database for all parts that belong to this tree. If someone out there has done this can you please share. Another way to look at it would be I want everything on the Multilevel tab. Although the tab shows all part records the view it is based on does not (ENG_PART_STRUCTURE_EXT). Any help would be appricated.
Is it possible to link IFS to an existing Document Repository? If the documents are already stored in SharePoint or SCM Harvest is there a way to create hooks / interface to an existing Doc Repository?
When looking at the Engineering Part Navigator I can see the Engineering Revision for the structure that am reviewing. When I create an equipment object I provide a Part No: for the piece of equipment. How do I know the Engineering Revision for the Part that is linked to the Equipment?
Using IFS10 When you go to connect an object to a Change Request you are prompted to with the following screen: We would like to be select documents as connected Object’s in this screen. Does anyone know if that is possible?
Using IFS10 The Change Request screen has 2 required fields out of the box. CR Level and CR Type. Is it possible to make these fields not required?
We would like to be able to track ownership of our Product’s within the system. That way if we ever have a product change we can notify the correct people or groups of people within the organization. Example Product: Instrument Landing Example Ownership Matrix: Product Functional Owner = Jane Doe Product Technical Owner = John Smith Product Safety Owner = US Safety Team In a perfect world, we would be able to track different people for a Design Product vs an deployed equipment. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
When I create a new Change Request Record I would like to Auto Populate the “CR No:” with text like the following. ABC-0001 Where the 0001 would increment up as a sequence. So after creating 5 Change Request I would have the following “CR No:” in the system. CR No: ABC-0001 ABC-0002 ABC-0003 ABC-0004 ABC-0005 Any help would be greatly appreciated.
