Hi All, I need to create a Custom REST API and this API needs to call several other REST APIs.For example new custom API is Test_Handling_SVC.My question is , do we normally call CRUD methods in standard SVC packages from other SVC packages (say custom SVC) or should we call standard New__ , Modify__ method calls instead.e.g.Do we call method Prepare_Work_Order_Handling_SVC.CRUD_Create() ORActive_Sepatate_API.New__() What is the recommended IFS standard?

Hi All,When we were in 22R2, we were told by IFS Support that it would be possible to download IFS Connect logs from 23R1 onwards.Having upgraded to 23R1, I could not see a way of downloading IFS Connect logs.Does anyone know any updates on this?It is pain to request this from IFS Support. We have requested this from IFS Support on 23/08/2023 as a Priority 2 request but still waiting.At least 2 weeks lead time for checking logs is not acceptable. We need to investigate ASAP why our SFTP Reader is not working.Instead, I would like to download this from Build Place so that we do not need to wait for IFS Support.ThanksGaSoGB

I have a custom REST API(POST) for an integration process.In this process, I need to pass a Post Code and create a location and retrieve Map Position (latitude/longitude).This can be done using standard method Location_Party_Address_API.Create_Location_With_Address(). Above method again calls a method Map_Position_API.Retrieve_Map_Position() and it has a call to an external REST API.Problem here is, when I call my custom REST API, other external REST API (Geocode Request Sender) executes in a separate session and my custom REST API call cannot see the data created from Map_Position_API.Retrieve_Map_Position().Just after the POST, it commits Map Positions into map_position_tab Do we have any other core methods/workaround where it is possible to create a location in IFS and retrieve Map Position latitude/longitude in one go?
Hi All, When I preview a SQL Quick Report in EE, it correctly shows titles in mixed case. However when I preview the same report in Aurena, it only shows first word in mixed case and others in lower case. If you have any prefix like ‘%’ it then even shows first word in lower case.Does anyone know a solution/workaround for this? EE Aurena
Hi All,I have set up a SFTP Reader in IFS Cloud and specified an IN directory.Say/main/Inbound/Now I have created a sub directory structure for different Inbound interfaces.say/main/Inbound/Shipping/main/Inbound/ASNI have also set up Routing Rules and specified above SFTP Reader and subdirectory paths for each interface.However , files are not picked up from sub directory locations. If I copy the file to the location defined in the SFTP Reader ,it picks up the file.I can create multiple instances of the SFTP Reader for each folder , but my objective is to use a Single SFTP Reader and read files in sub directory structures using Routing Rules/Routing Addresses.Any thoughts?

Hi All,How do you distribute a lobby as a home page to a User Group efficiently?Is there any proper way to do this efficiently instead of trying to update the profile manually for each user or any other workarounds that take time?In this scenario there can be several user groups and users count can be more than 1000 and this needs to be done for more than 4 environments.I do not think this can be achieved by using ‘Configuration Context’.In Apps10, it was possible to do this efficiently using the ‘Base Profile’.

Hi All,Assume we need to call a third party REST API with OAuth2.How do we do this using Plsql_Rest_Sender_API.Call_Rest_EndPoint_Json or using similar methods in package Plsql_Rest_Sender_API.There are parameters http_req_headers_,query_parameters_ and also auth_params_ in these methods so I guess it can be a combination of above parameters OR just using auth_params_.Does anyone have an example on how to do this?i.e. How do we specify values related to oAuth2 authorization?UPDATE:I found that this can be achieved by using Routing Address. There should be a way to handle this in the code as well but still not sure how to do it.
Hi All,After configuring Azure AD and when user tries to log on to IFS using ‘Log in with Azure’ link, user is given a dialog to change the password.My question is, what password is going to be changed here?Is it Active Directory password or IFS End User account password?
