Hi, When I try to add a Custom Field to the tab ‘Charges’ on the Purchase Order I get this Error: What do I need to do to solve this?
Is there any way to use dynamic component dependency if the component I am depending on is customized component and it is not installed. If the dependent component is customized and not installed then there would not be any component_<modulename>_sys package. In this case what needs to be done?
Hello,Working with events, I’m trying to get the value of a date type attribute and the result is a number, instead of a date.I’ve tried for different date type attributes and with different logical units and tables, and the result is always the same. For example:Logical Unit: ExpenseHeaderTable: Expense_Header_tabAttribute: CONFIRM_DATEWhen the event is executed, I get “1994” as a result, but it should be “16/10/2020”. Does anyone know how to resolve?.Thanks in advance,Amaia
Hi,Very often we see background jobs in status ERROR with the message “...object is locked by another user.“.How can I handle this in my PLSQL procedure? There is a lock_sys package and oracle has a v$lock table. The lock_sys takes lock_name_ as a parameter. I don’t know what that is.The second includes an ADDR column. I don’t know what that refers to. Can any of this be used to handle this error, by fx postpone the execution of the job if the object is locked?BR Kresten

Hi there,I’m trying to get inter site trading working where the sites that trade are in 2 different companies. I can raise and send a Purchase Order from the demand site to the Internal Supplier, this successfully creates a message in the Connectivity Outbox, however, it does not generate an Incoming Customer Order on the receiving site and there is no Connectivity Inbox message generated. I’ve got inter site trading working successfully where the sites are within the same company but not across multiple companies Any ideas? Thanks!
We want to analyze in which lobbies (and quick reports and events) a specific database field is being used, but we can’t find the queries used by lobbies somewhere in the database. Can anybody tell me, where these information can be found?
We are seeing many sessions of IFS left Active even after the individual has logged out of IFS (we had sessions that were active for over 2 weeks and had restarted the environment at least once during this window). I know what is causing this and we are working on the user community to exit appropriately (selecting the Menu when done) but I’m trying to figure out is there a configuration/setup/utility that we need to have to clear out these old sessions? I can create a process to remove them in the background, but trying to determine if there is a function that we should configure in IFS and not use a brute force deleting process.
Apps 7.5 had a cool enhancement to Operational Reporting called ‘iPrinting’ which was a UK customisation. It allowed additional data to be pulled into a report layout which could then be used by Report Designer. This feature appeared to disappear by the time Apps 9 came along and I wondered whether anyone has come across this? Custom Fields offer some assistance but what they do not provide is ‘sub queries’ of data. e.g. Customer Invoices lines report the Lot/Batch Number of the invoice qty but I want to then show a break down of that quantity across the batches. This would require a sub-query of the inventory transaction history or something to show the separate lot ref and qty. I used to be able to do this using iPrinting but I can’t see way to do it with custom fields. Anyone got any ideas?
