Thanks for the replies already, but the functionality we are looking for is from an operational perspective to be able to have IFS replacing parts based on a “supersession”-relation in for example MRP-calculation.We get a call from a supplier a certain part cannot be delivered anymore, but we know there is another part that can replace this part. In that case we want to use the avalable stock and after that we would like IFS to suggest us the other part and also have the other part being supplied upon demand for the old part. Some customers have machines in the field containing the “old” structure with the “old” part in it. Making a revision in an engineering structure to replace the part will not fix my complete product lifecycle management.
Hi, we have been seeing the same thing but in a structured way: for some employees an interval registration is created, for some others (perfectly the same setup) we don’t see it.Doe anyone has an update on this? We have been playing with the “Shop Floor Reporting Settings” on site level but this didn’t chnage anything and it seems not to be the same for all employees. thanks,Kurt
Hi, Thank you for the information but I would have hoped to be able to see a comparison in the activity blocks on the Gantt between current and history.regards,Kurt
ok, Baseline I found in the settings on the Gantt as a coloured line under my activity blocks, but the intermediate history logging, I do not see an option. Anyone?
Does anyone know if MRP does something different with supply generated from split shop orders? is this treated different then normal created shop orders? regardsKurt
thank you for the quick reply, still strange why some screens are “forgotten” by IFS for document management :-)
Thank you for this quick answers, that’s the solution!
I’m also facing the same problem, no matter which level I try to use in the warehouse navigator, the moment something is defined there as capacity, I’m no longer able to put material in that location receiving above error. Is this known as a bug?regards,Kurt
