Hi @Nethmini Kosvinna Hopefully the test flow below makes sense. Ensure Automatic Reservation settings on the Site of the Maintenance Material Requisition is set to firstly reserve “Earliest Receipt Date”. Create maintenance material requisition line on a Work Order for a part where stock from two separate lot batches exists as part on the available qty of the part on the Maintenance Material Requisition Site and add enough stock to ensure that auto reserving will select stock from two separate lot batches. (or for a part with no Qty on Hand on the Site, NREC into stock two separate lot batches of Qty =1 for a part and add this part to the Maintenance Material Requisition, Qty = 2). Release the Maintenance Material Requisition Create Pick List (RMB in header of Maintenance Material Requisition within the Materials tab of the Work Order, and select Print Pick List from the drop down Options, ensuring that Reserve all Unreserved Lines is ticked. RMB to View Pick List. On the Pick Lis
Hi @Nethmini Kosvinna I am using Apps10 Update 17.
Hi. I have just come across the same error in Apps10 when trying to Pick All on a WO Pick List which has reserved stock of the same part across two different lot batches. I also get a different error which gives a similar result as shown below. On each occasion the full quantity is reserved and shows as such in IPIS and the WO Materials Line. However I cannot Pick All. @Asturge1 Did you manage to resolve your issue?
We currently count A items every 60 working days, B items every 120 working days and C items every 240 working days. We have a team of 2-3 responsible for cycle counting every morning. I believe they count about 30 parts per day. Patrick….Hi. I am looking at a similar set up, however if I enter a cycle interval onto the Inventory Part record and run Create Count Report for a specific number of records (say 30), nothing pulls through onto the Count Report. (no data found). How did you start the cycle so that a suitable number of parts are included on each daily Count Report ? For your A items, what cycle interval have you entered and do your scheduled counts have a value in the “Number of Records to be Printed” field in the additional parameters ?
@jamiewhite @coolklash Yes it is definitely possible to have it on one transport task. Below are the steps I went through. Not sure why it is not working for you if you have similar settings on the site though., it may be worth creating a case with support so they can analyse your setup. Creating a transport task for 2 parts on 2 different locations. To location is the sameOne transport task is createdSettings on Site (note I changed ‘To Location By’ to ‘Bin’ Many thanks @Roel van Zwieten. Greatly appreciated. I assume you have no Warehouse level automatic consolidation that could override these settings?
@CooAlastL i am able to move inventory parts from different locations on the same site to one new location with ‘Move with transportation task’ but it will create multiple transportation tasks but you can execute all the transportation tasks at the same time to speed up the transfer. regards Jamie Thanks Jamie. Yes I’m struggling to create a single Transport Task for this.
Hi...I am having the same issue where multiple transport tasks are being created even though my automatic consolidation settings on the site are set to multiple Parts and Multiple references. @Roel van Zwieten can you confirm that it is definitely possible to create a single transport Task for multiple parts coming from multiple locations, but all being moved to the same single location?
Thanks for this. Agreed this would be a useful lobby element, however I need an expiration date on e-mailed/printed quotes so that it is clear to the customer when the quote is valid until. I know I could look at standard quote document text stating “Quote valid for 30 days from Quotation Date”, however the field designed to hold this expiry date would still be blank in the Quote header.
Many thanks for the quick reply Sameera, which confirms what I expected.Disappointing that this isn’t a standard feature in IFS given how important quote validity date can be to businesses, especially when prices are volatile.
Many thanks for this. How would I select the different price sources based on the priority of the order ?I require this at line level, not header level which poses another problem as there is not a priority on the Sales Quotation or Order Line.
Thanks to all. The manual sourcing option using a sourcing rule won’t be an option due to the volume of orders and speed of process required. Good to know that I haven’t missed anything with regards to the sourcing rule set up as there doesn’t seem to be a way of doing what is needed using standard IFS functionality.
