Hi dikuus, These are the steps you can follow to retrieve GET files from Config Builder: 1. Prepare a Notepad in your workfolder to fetch files of GET Extension. You can get a sample from the following location - For App10: \\cmbpde1755\GET10_UPD9Make sure you select the UPD you are currently applying 2. Edit the Notepad with only the components the customer has. You can open the cifx and see what GET components are being used by the customer.3. Fetch files using ConfigBuilderIn IPE select Config Builder Tool, then select ‘Customized RRC file’ option. For ‘RRC File’ field give GET .csv file path as below* For GET App10: \\corpnet\files\Configbuild\ArchiveApp10_GET_rrc.csv* For ‘Customer configuration file’ path give the path of your text file which we edited and saved above Now all customer GET components should get listed as below. Make sure the ‘Update’ column has the target update customer is taking eg for UPD9 Select your workspace folder as the place where you want to fetch the f

@CHFFORBESN The windows version supported in Apps 10 UPD12 is Windows 10 version 21H1You can find the supported Windows version from the following link :https://ifs.sharepoint.com/sites/ProductSupportedPlatforms/SitePages/IFS-Applications-10-Supported-Platforms.aspx
Hi, RnD has now certified Windows 10 version 20H2 as of APPS10 Update10 and APPS9 Update17. Thanks, Kasun @Kasun Balasooriya @Nimaz Sheik this certification means even the customized IFS flows should not be affected after that windows update. Is this understanding correct? The question is due to this. We have a certain customization that stopped working recently. Our IFS Channel partner took ages to investigate, but fixed it ultimately. When we asked for the root cause their reply was the below, which is very annoying and vague. Next time we do want to proactively stop another windows update removing this customization rather than having to rely on this channel partner. What do you think should our approach should be? We are running App10 UPD9 and have IFS Gold level support by the way. Hi Enzo,I apologize I lack the knowledge to give you a proper response, but yes your understanding is correct that customized IFS flows will not be affected by windows update.
Deliveries will have to be installed in sequence as each new UPD builds on the previous. So if you are going to install from UPD8 to UPD12 that will includeUPD9 UPD10 UPD11 UPD12
Is there an updated overview about compatibility between IFS EE client versions and Windows client version. Does this list also contain the planned certification dates for future versions of IFS and Windows as both systems are frequently offering updates. This is important for planning of updates. Thanks Johannes You can check the supported platforms for APP 10 in this linkhttps://ifs.sharepoint.com/sites/ProductSupportedPlatforms/SitePages/IFS-Applications-10-Supported-Platforms.aspx
Windows 10 version 20H2 has been certified
Hi, Following error appears in the “_ERROR_install.log” after installing UPD11 in customer’s DEV environment. However this doesn’t create any database invalid objects. The reason the way that the "Not Consumed" Material Qty Required, etc. was changed is because so many of our users wanted to be able to see the Qty Required on the Work Instructions. When user Reserves material, the Shop Order shows that the Not Consumed lines do not get Reserved, and they also don't get Issued even if you Backflush the whole Shop Order. In fact, a Material line marked as Not Consumed will not allow a user to Manually issue. Personally, I like the extra information, but if you're using a custom Pick List, it might require revising. So, there's no change on the Product Structure, no change on the cost, no change on the component requirements, no change on the quantity that gets used on the SO. The only change is on the display for the new orders .
