IFS has notes areas for customer and supplier (Customer/Sales and Supplier/Purchase) but these do not have a user/date/time stamp when editing them and they do not show anywhere else in the application. In older versions, I created a pop-up custom event that would display the notes when creating a CO or PO. A custom field on the CO or PO order header can also be used to display the notes.
@EnzoFerrari I believe you would want to use a custom event for this. You would want to check a number of conditions on the incoming order. Inventory part, sales part, sales part cross reference, what about pricing?
Why not change the report to show the Price/Curr if the Customs Value field is empty? That way if there is a need to have a different value, it would still work.
You need to grant the lobby to the user, then log in to the application and make that lobby the default home page.
Vendor number is not part of the standard customer schedule EDI receive message.
My apologies, I misunderstood. We used to be able to change document repository to a network drive which you would then have been able to copy the documents out of the network drive to back them up. Hopefully someone has written an export script and is willing to share. Sorry I couldn’t help.
This check box is on the company/distribution tab and also available in batch create customer order invoices.
Check it at the Company level and see if it allows you to create the invoices manually.
There is a check box when batch creating customer invoices to invoice unconnected charges separately. If you check that, it should work. “If this check box is marked it indicates that the system will create invoices for unconnected charges even when there are no deliveries against the customer order or when there are no approved stage billing lines. When delivery confirmation is used, invoices are created even when there is no confirmed quantity. If this checkbox is cleared, unconnected charge lines would be invoiced when there is a delivery for the customer order, or when there are approved stage billing lines. When delivery confirmation is used, there should be at least some quantity confirmed for the unconnected charge to be invoiced. Note: The default value for this checkbox is inherited from the relevant company”
There is no limit to the size of files for document management. A custom event could be created to do this and could be configured to work by document class.
Once Document Revisions have been set to Status Obsolete, they may be deleted. A lobby element could be used to show Obsoleted Revisions after a certain number of days or a background job could likely be created to remove them automatically after being obsolete for a certain amount of time.
Please let’s talk in IFS terminology, it makes it easier to relate. When you say you rev’d a phantom, I assume this means you created a new product structure for the phantom with a new phase in date, and the alternate has been made buildable. You have also made the old product structure revision obsolete, correct? And when you created the shop order for the top level item, the planned start date was after the new phase in date of the phantom?
Did you try creating a new shop order to see if it works?
This is what Assortments can be used for.=====================================================================Assortments and Site ClustersThe possibility to mass create parts for many sites dramatically facilitates for companies that have many parts, many sites, and short product life cycles. It reduces the amount of work required for part creation to a minimum. It provides a possibility to centralize the initial setup of parts. In addition, it reduces the risk of inconsistent data between sites, since the data is initialized from one single source.Assortments and site clusters form the foundation for a successful mass creation of parts. Remember, assortment in this context is your company's assortment, and should not be confused with the assortment of your supplier.Assortments and site clusters are two different types of structures. These structures consist of nodes; ordinary nodes as well as part or site nodes. Ordinary nodes are not connected to a part or a site; they are mainly bu
