Gayan, did you ever get a solution to this issue? I am experiencing the same thing and sure could use some guidance.
Thank you, Kelum! I am having another on the team look for this patch and get it applied. Appreciate your response!
We do enforce the use of change orders, and I agree, it is just plain good business practice. However, for some human error reason the Buyer inadvertently selected the incorrect purchase group and the PO was a rush, and unfortunately it was not noticed until after the fact. I was only asking if it was completely necessary to make this one correction without the CO process occurring, not to correct any cost, supplier, or other more important things that are far more important for change orders and history logging.
Is there a way to turn this “preview” file download feature off in its entirety? I have many users that get this pop-up when they go into Instant Authorization and it drives them crazy every time. I tell them to just hit Cancel, but everyone is asking if this can just be turned off completely.
Example.
Answer received. No, there are no recovery techniques possible.
Never mind, figured this one out. There were two users attempting to work on this req at the same time.
Have you come across this error message on a purchase requisition?“The updates could not be performed since the Purchase Requis Line Part record is currently locked. Please retry the operation.” Could this be that another user was attempting to assign this line at the same time, unknowingly?
That was it! Thank you, Kithmini!
Fantastic, thank you Shawn! I’m not a procurement pro (filling in for someone’s absence) and this makes total sense to me. I was able to explain and show the end user with all understanding. Thanks!! - Barb
Thank you! Appreciate the feedback.
I will look into this, thank you for responding! This has given me hope!
None of the columns are indexed, this is what has me stumped.
Thanks for responding! The best approach seems to be to just enter the value already rounded up.
