Looks like you need to upgrade the Touch Apps Server to the 10.6 version. The TAS installer is delivered as part of the IFS delivery and you can find it in the manualdeploy\install folder of your Build Home. Please follow the installation guidelines in F1 Technical Documentation under IFS Installation Guide > Additional Installation Options > Touch Apps > IFS Touch Apps Server Installation Cheers James

404 Error IFS MWO

The Touch Apps Server in Apps 10 is delivered in each Update. When you install an Apps 10 UPD you should also install the delivered Touch Apps Server. The Touch Apps Server can be found in the manualdeploy\install folder in your Build Home.

The new MWO Maintenance App will only work with IFS Applications 10 UPD4 onwards. On top of this you must have the MWO Maintenance projection installed. You can check to see if the projection is available to grant to your mobile users by looking in Permission Sets > Activities and look for a folder named “TouchApp MaintEngApp 1” Cheers James

Account manager login error

It looks like everything is configured correctly as you can pass through the login page via Account Manager. Could you check that the end user has access to the Scan It App security - you can generate a role script via the Touch Apps Server Customer Portal. If the User has the correct access then I suggest you raise a Case with IFS Support to investigate further Cheers James

MWO Touch Apps invalid URL

So I am guessing that you do not have the MWO module installed in your environment. The MWO Maintenance App requires this module to function. You can check to see if this module exists by checking the Module report or querying the records in the module view via a SQL statement. Cheers James

Mobile Work Order Configuration

The Purchase Requisition functionality in MWO is embedded within the Work Order process. You cannot raise a standalone Purchase Requisition. So to raise a Purchase Requisition you will need a Work Order transferred to the device in the state Accepted or higher to do this.

Looks like a security issue. Check what Activities have been granted to your users permission set in Permission Set > Activities tab under the TouchApp mWorkOrder folder

What UPD version are you running? In early UPD releases of Aurena MWO I know we have a problem with Grouped Push and translations. If you are not running in the same language - the Grouped Push User and Process and the mobile end users you will not see data.

Reinstalling the App will not assist here. Grouped Push is a server process. The client will fetch from the server what the Grouped Push process has already collected for the User. Can you check what data you have in Grouped Push Transaction Queue. You should see an Init record for your App. If you cannot see an Init record for your App then you have an issue with the Grouped Push process or data set-up. Please read the F1 technical documentation “Administration Guide > Touch Apps > Configuration Guide > Synchronization Rules” and the section on Grouped Push for more details on the Grouped Push process

In Grouped Push Transaction Queue, on the Init record can you RMB and view Transaction Messages. Is this the data you are expecting to see? In Grouped Push Filter Map do you see data for your User and App. If so, what is the language code? Can you then check what the language code is for your mobile user? Unfortunately we don’t display this in IEE client yet. You can check this by running the following SQL: SELECT mdau.app_name, mdau.app_version, mdau.device_id, mdau.user_id, LANGUAGE FROM MOBILE_DEVICE_APP_USER mdau WHERE mdau.App_name = 'MaintEngApp' AND mdau.app_version = (select mav.app_version from MOBILE_APPLICATION_VERSION mav WHERE mav.app_name = 'MaintEngApp' AND mav.active = 'TRUE') AND upper(mdau.user_id) = upper('<USER_ID>') please replace <USER_ID> with your User ID

Okay, so it looks like a configuration set-up issue. Grouped Push collects data based on your Users default language - as configured in IFS Applications. This is so we get translated enumeration values within the data we are collected. If your device then synchronizes using a different language you will not get any data. In your screenshots we can see the Grouped Push data is collected based on the language “en” but your device is set to “bp” as the App is showing as translated To solve this I think you need to do 1 of 2 things. Change your Users default language in IFS Applications > Solution Manager > Security > Users so it matches your device language. You will then need to wait overnight for the Grouped Push process to collect the data in the new language or Disable and Delete your Installed App/Device record from IFS Applications > Solution Manager > Touch Apps > Administration. Change your device language to be English then re-initialize the device If either

Hi, If you are talking about Permission Set Security then these can be generated from the Touch Apps Server admin console for the Touch Apps. For Mobile Work Order the security is documented in the F1 help pages. To be more specific could you let me know what IFS Apps version you are running Many thanks James

There are no prepared permission sets for these Apps. You can grant full access via the Permission Set screen and grant all activities under the relevant folder for the App

The alternative to changing the “Sync All Objects” settings is to add a permission set filter to the entity to limit what objects are synchronized. Do you have a permission set filter on other Equipment Object entities?

Okay. Can you check that you have the permission set “TOUCHAPPS_RUNTIME” granted in a structure to your users permission set please. If this doesn’t solve your problem then I suggest raising a support case to get further assistance Cheers James
