We have an interface between Teamcenter and IFS. I was involved in an early version many years ago of which we designed to use the IFS Engineering module side of things. I have not been involved in the latest of which we have with v9. Let me know what information you might like. I can ask my colleagues for you. I am also interested in that interface. Could you please share with me some details?
Here you can see which valuation methods are available for serial and lot/batch items.
I think we currently have no functionality for that scenario. Capacity is just taken into account as hours to be done in a WC, not a daily rate as in your example. CBS/APB are rescheduling also hours and not quantities as load.
No, only when you have FIFO as valuation method that table is created/updated.
We did an interface at Grupo Arania with Inplanta (spanish sites) and Proteo (slovakia sites). We send the list of master parts, SO headers, SO materials and SO operations from IFS and we receive production details, scrapped parts and by product from MES. We also implemented component manual issue from PROTEO for real consumption purposes. These interfaces went live on APPS9 in 2018.
I have tested in APPS10 many availability controls and that parameter of “Not Allow” on Part Movement Control works fine. Please find in LCS a possible fixed bug for that if in your IFS version/update doesn’t work like that. In fact, that control allows IFS to know if the stock can be inserted in the transport task or not, Kanban is just a way to predefine source, destination, part and quantity to be introduced automatically in that task (in other words, if you define that control you cannot even create transport tasks to move that blocked material.
Repeated question, answered in: https://community.ifs.com/products-all-about-making-and-managing-stuff-40/how-to-calculate-stock-ageing-634
You need to analyze the INVENTORY_PART_COST_FIFO tab (FIFO-LIFO Analysis in the navigator). There you can see sequence, quantity and unit cost of all transactions to build up a quick-report you are looking for.
I had a customer that had problems with the same task cause there was a negative calculation in some parts due to by-product cost distribution (sum of all components’ cost was lower than by-products’ cost). The task took very long time and many times we had to kill it. I created a query to find out which products create this problem (negative cost) and after solve them by unchecking by-product cost distribution the task worked once again. Hope this helps!
I am trying to see a Non Conformance Report attached to a customer order from the B2B portal. I see it attached to the CO in IEE or Aurena, but not in the B2B. Is there any particular classification of the NCR may I need to do? As far as I know, there is still no generic attachment area for NCRs, that can be activated on any screen. Most probably it has been “hardcoded” into each page where IFS R&D thought it was needed. If it is missing, from your point of view, I suggest you file a support case about it, such that it can become a request for future developments. At this moment there’s no object connection screen for B2B, I think this is a bug cause I have tested in the reference environment and it raise the same error. I have opened a case to RnD. When you say “I think this is a bug”, do you refer to the fact that there is no screen for configuring object connections B2B? If yes, that I don’t think you will get agreement on this. Configuration possibilities should mostly

Hi Daniel, thank you for the answer. I am not talking about documents, I am referring to NCRs. I see it in EE or Aurena, but not in the B2B portal. Also a server error is raised once clicked in Show More or Create NCR.
