Hello, Is there a way to disable the “hover” capabilities of the global menu? Currently if the user’s mouse passes over the global menu icon it automatically “flies out” their short cuts. The user must then click it repeatedly to get it to go away. Thanks,Dan
Hello, Looking to build a screen that shows only records that a in the same “phy_svc_grp_b” as the individual viewing the screen. [FSM6u24] Looking at the screen below I do not see that as an option. How are these variables controlled? Is it possible to add Variables to this list?
Hello, Currently from the task screen we have built a number of ‘custom searches’. My users have raised the question. Can we create ‘buttons’ for them to click in the header vs. having to open a drop down every time they want to check a work Queue? Can a button be given a ‘preform message’ type XML or a Client Script to run a specified ‘custom’ search? Best regards,Dan
Hello, If we display a field on the screen and it is driving from a drop down we can select a “Item Style ID” to format the text and alter the back ground color. - This is GREAT! BUT if that field is Read only then it reduces this control to only formatting text, it ignores the background formatting. Do we have the ability to override the ‘grey’ of the read only cell and allow the image style ID show?
Hello, We have upgraded from 6u13 to 6u24 and our Tech portal is no longer able to print service reports. We have a button that run the following language:var task_id = getControlValue('task','task_id');alert(task_id);if (isNullOrEmptyString(task_id)) { return false;}var reportParams = 'task_id=' + task_id;printReport('FSE_SERVICE_REPORT_INT', reportParams, PDF); This code has functioned for the last 12+ months under 6u13 but now in 6u24 it no longer functions. We are receiving the following error.Out report is formatted
Hello, We are working to integrate our field staff deeper into FSM through the tech portal. We currently have .xls based ‘inspection reports’ our field technicians complete, but we want to bring this into FSM. We need to create an interface as shown below where a set of instructions and illustrations can be presented along side the entry field. What is the best way to accomplish this in FSM Tech Portal R6U23 ?*redacted inspection report
Hello, I am looking to harness the ECO module to help organize our Engineering Change Orders. We need to pass 3 additional fields when generating the Requests. What process drives the Engineering change module? data to pass would go into (request.payment_id + request.group + request.cust_prob_descr) Thank you!Dan
Hello, Question regarding App Param: FREEZE_REQUEST_STATUS on FSM [6u13] Our goal is to “lock” or “freeze” a request when it has reached a status of ‘complete’ , ‘CO’ so that no one can edit details of the request. We have set our [code table] to include the correct codeI believe we have set the App param correctly Currently I can open a “completed” request on the UI, and change values on the request table (like request.payment_id) and save changes Is there an additional step I need to take to “Lock” the records?
Hello, We are having an issue with request creation and bill to place ID’s. When creating a new Request, we select a product that has a [product.place_id] “Located at” place ID and a different [product.place_id_owned_by]“Owned by” place id. After the product is selected the system copies the [place.place_id] “Located at” place ID into both the [request.place_id]”Place ID” and then the place_xref ‘Place Bill to’ to the [request.place_ID_to_bill] “Bill to Place” This relationship appears to be driven by the FSM Metadata for ‘Request’ in its Default Def. Is there a way to change the base line mapping to pull from product? What is the recommended solution? Thanks,Dan Product SelectionRequest ResultProduct RecordFSM Default mappingplace information
