I am having an issue with an employee time not able to be completed and authorized. I am getting the message that the Unprocessed days may not be authorized for the employee. The clockings have all been manually entered and have an in and an out. But I am still getting this message. Any help would be welcomed.
I am looking for help on creating a custom event that will check records that have a date within the next few days and then send an email to a users email address.Basically if a date is set for an action to be done for a certain order, then email the coordinator. If you have ideas please let me know and I can share more info as needed.
Has anyone seen this issue and know how to fix it? The problem is:The Default Batch Queue seems to run for awhile as it should, and then decides to take a break for a random amount of minutes. Sometimes 3 or 4 minutes and up to around 15 minutes….and then it starts running jobs again. This is causing many jobs to pile up and that queue gets farther and farther behind. The alert monitor for number of batch queues stuck stays on most of the time, but I don’t see that it is truly stuck, it just seems to take long breaks.Anyone have ideas? This is Apps 9, and yes, I have done the break, reactivate and re-init the queue. Have even bounced the database.Any ideas would be welcomed….
In Apps 9...I would like to know how and what criteria needs to be done to use this option from the RMB menu of a purchase order. I know all about setting up an event action triggered off the PDF_REPORT_CREATED - but this is not what I want as that would be something that is triggered upon every PO printed and not just when I select the menu item while on a certain PO. Has anyone used this feature and can help explain it a little to me?
Apps 9 - I am wanting to add something that I would think is simple to the Reserve and Backflush Visualization screen. In the window that shows you the locations of the inventory in stock to reserve from, I was wanting to add the Warehouse column. When I try to add a custom field it doesn’t load the custom fields window properly as the Visualization screen is a sub-screen pop-up from the Shop Order screen. Anyone out there have ideas on how I can add this data column?Thanks for any ideas and help...
Looking for some help with an issue I am having. I am trying to setup an Event that will allow my event action to fire when a new shop order is created and they click the save button. So I have the event created on the ShopOrd logical unit and have the checkbox checked for Fire When: New objects are created. But I do not get the event action to trigger. I have modified the event to also check the box for when objects are changed and then I can get my event action to trigger, but ONLY when I change one of the attributes I have selected. So, my question is….how do I get the event action to fire upon the initial creation and save?This is in Apps 9 by the way...Any help is appreciated...
Just curious whether anyone knows of a way to allow high contrast screens for Apps 9, or at least a way to have more themes available than the bright white screens with either green or purple? I know Apps 8 and Apps 10 have more theme choices available and some were darker screens for those that have difficulty with white backgrounds.

Looking for some help in making a shortcut link to the Posting Proposals screen populated with the “I’m Next Authorizer” button selected rather than the default “All”. Currently my link takes me to the screen with “All”. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.Apps 9, if it matters...
I am using IFS Apps 9 and would like to know if there is a way to mass import media items (images) in a folder and then associate them with inventory parts. The images are named by the inventory part number.Could this be a data migration job…?Anyone done this type of import before, or similar?Any help would be appreciated.
I am looking at a Crystal Report that prompts for parameters to filter the report results, however, it seems to read all the records of the table before applying the filter and then producing the report. It wouldn’t be a problem except it has almost 4 million records to read and makes the report take way too long. Any suggestions out there?Thanks~JV
Let me start by saying I have plenty of email event actions that send out correctly, so I do not think this is any sort of MAIL_SENDER issue.I am trying to setup an event action to trigger from the (Notification_Events_Util_API.Start_Notify_Next_Auth) function. The background job posts and executes with no errors. But my email event action does not hit the application messages and notification queue. So, I get no email. Strange thing is, I have this working in one environment…..but getting this working in a new environment is giving me trouble.The Event is already setup, the Event Action is setup and enabled. I have a schedule tasks to run this event at a given interval….same as the working environment.What piece am I missing?Thanks for any help…~JV
