MWO Initialization does not Start. Apps9

Hi,a customer has the following issue,The customer’s App9 Test Environment MWO does not initialize. when checked there are no out messages created. and the following error is in TAS Logs,I    10/12/2022 11:21:15 AM    <Ifs.Cloud.Client.Exceptions.CloudException><Message>ORA-06550: line 3, column 35: PLS-00302: component 'CLEAR_SYNC_DATA_' must be declared    Failed executing statement (ORA-06550: line 3, column 35: PLS-00302: component 'CLEAR_SYNC_DATA_' must be declared ORA-06550: line 3, column 2: PL/SQL: Statement ignored)</Message></Ifs.Cloud.Client.Exceptions.CloudException> Bit of Background on the issue,They are having this issue after a downgrade of TAS server due to an issue with a patch. even after they removed the patch and downgraded the TAS to the working version, Mobile Initialization still does not work. Any and All ideas are welcome.Thanks in Advance.

Few Users are Unable to Turn in Maintenance Surveys

Hi, A customer has the following issue, When a user completes a Work Order he has to complete a Survey and this is mandatory.  but the issue is there are 2 users which cannot complete the survey.in logs, a users Employee ID is showing as “100044JNEFF” and there is no employee as “100044JNEFF”there are 2 employees registered for the same user, and their employee ids are “JNEFF” and “100044”. somehow these 2 ids are getting mixed and taken as one employee id. initially, I thought, terminating one employee would solve the issue but it didn’t. the issue still occurring for the same users.any and all ideas and solutions are welcome, Thanks in Advance. Best Regards,Bhanuka

Hi Team,a customer has following question,What are the criteria for inventory quantities to appear in the My Stock window of Mobile Work Order?i do have a basic understanding of the answer but if someone can give a complete answer it would be helpful. Thanks

What values on FSM Resource (threesixty_resource) will send an update to PSO

Hi Team, One of our customers has below question & I would like your help on it, What values on FSM Resource (threesixty_resource) will send an update to PSO?  For example, we want to increase all resources travel time and out of region multiplier but updating these values and reinitializing PSO we do not see an update.  Are there ANY fields on this table that FSM will send to PSO?   Doing these mass updates in PSO is problematic and it is easier to import an update in FSM vs one record at a time. Thanks in Advance,Bhanuka.

MWO, Android & HTTPS : How Android OS Affects HTTP & HTTPS requests on Mobile Work Order

I’m writing this article to help, get an understanding of Mobile Work Order HTTP & HTTPS request compatibility. this article mostly relates to APP9 customers who are upgrading to the latest UPD to get Latest Android Compatibility. but I hope other tracks also will get help from this.If your System recently upgraded to the latest UPD to support Android 9 or 10. when you try to log in to the app & you are getting an error like this,"Something went wrong trying to communicate with IFS Cloud.Service down or not accessible?Please contact to administrator."and if the Touch Apps URL starts with “http://..” (Uses HTTP Requests to communicate with the Touch Apps Server)also if you can log in using an older version like Android 8 or 7.we can point out the issue lies in HTTP Requests. The main reason for this is, with Android 9 OS Onward Google has disabled HTTP requests on the Android OS, this is an OS level restriction and this enforces the use of HTTPS on Android. A Guide to Enabling Traces For Users on Mobile Work Order

We use Traces to find various issues on Mobile Work Order Apps. Essentially, what enabling Traces does is it logs every type of call (Database Calls, Application Code, Call Sequence, Stub Arguments) from Client to Server to see what happens Under the hood and Find solutions to the issue. Using traces, we can Track calls & actions from Client to Server (Backend). Enable TracesTo enable Traces, We need to select a user affected by a particular issue. On “IFS Enterprise Explorer,” please go to the “Explore Mobile User” window and Right Click on the user. Then select “Show Details.”Next, On the “Installed Apps/Devices” Tab, select the relevant device and Right Click on the Record. Then go to “Edit App/Device Settings…”In the Opened Dialog Box Check, “Enable traces” Check box Select Detailed Radio Box. Then, Check the relevant Check Boxes from the “Generate Traces for” Group.
