Hi,We want to use “Batch Print Customer Invoices” to enable the enduser to either 1) Print 2) E-mail or 3) Print & E-mail, the invoices.Batch Print Customer InvoicesThe thing is I don’t know how to configure the Customer record and event action connected to PDF_REPORT_CREATED.Customer Record, Email setupEvent Action for PDF_REPORT_CREATEDWith above configuration the option“Print Only” will succesfully print the invoice “E-mail” will succesfully e-mail the invoice “Print/Send” will only print the invoice and not email it.From what I can see this is because the condition “PRINTER_ID=PDF_PRINTER” on the event action. If I remove that condition the option “Print/Send” will both print and email the invoice, but so will also the option “Print Only”. And that is the root of my question. How to I configure IFS so that “Print Only” only prints, “E-mail” only emails (that works as far as I can see) and “Print/Send” both prints and emails?Or as I’m writing this, have I missunderstood the conc
Hi,We are running IFS10 Update 11.I’m a bit confused about the setup of Logical Printers, Task Template and Printer Agent. My example:First I add a brand new logical printer named My New Printer. Then I add the printer to my User ID.Logical PrintersUser PrinterI go to Customer Order and print a Customer Order Confirmation on My New Printer.I then go to Print Manager. The error message says that the selected printer agent is not mapped to any printer agent.Print ManagerThe thing is, I haven’t added the printer to the Task Template and still the application message says that the message used the template PROCESSING_PRINT_JOBS.Application Messages Is this some kind of setting I’ve missed? That is, even though I haven’t added the Logical Printer to any Task Template it’s picked up by one.It was my understanding that if I don’t add the Logical Printer to any Task Template I would end up with another error (something along the lines of “no report formatter setup for the printer”).
Hi, We’re running IFS10 and want to make sure that material for a specific Work Center is reserved from a production line. This works fine for us if we don’t connect the material line to an operation. As soon as we connect it to an operation the reservation is unsuccessful. RMB on the row and selecting “Reserve” leads to below information message and the row is not reserved, notice that the row is connected to Operation 10. If we remove Operation 10 from the row and selectes RMB “Reserve” again the row is successfully reserved. In the Operations tab operation 10 has been setup. The Production Line has been setup with the produced part and the component we’re trying to reserve. And the Work Center has been setup using the production line. Are we missing anything, or is it not possible to reserve material from production lines if the material is connected to an operation number?
Hi,(Using IFS9)In Solution Manager under System Parameters there is an option to make Report Designer PDF/A compliant. If we select yes, print a report and open it in Adobe Reader it will say “This file claims compliance with the PDF/A standard and has been opened in read-only to prevent modification”. All well so far. But if we run the file through a PDF validator it says something along these lines:Validating file "TEST.pdf" for conformance level pdfa-1bThe property 'pdf:keywords' is not defined in schema 'Adobe PDF Schema'.The document does not conform to the requested standard. The document's meta data is either missing or inconsistent or corrupt. The document does not conform to the PDF/A-1b standard.Done. The validator succesfully validates other PDF-files from other souces, but so far no file from IFS. Have any of you tried out this option, and does it work well for you?Perhaps there is some additional configuration to be done which we’ve missed. BRGeorge
