Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to use IFS Lease Contract to cater Accounting Requirements for Lessor perspective? If Lease Contract cannot be used for this purpose, is there any other solution available in IFS to meet the Accounting Demands on Lease Accounting on Lessor perspective? Thanks! Sachith
Hi, We are doing an IFS Applications 10 implementation to a Manufacturing client. One of the processes of the client is to create a recipe structure for Manufacturing. Our scenario is, there is an unfinished recipe which is still in Tentative state. When we try to add components to our structure, we get the error “Phase In date of this component conflicts with parent revision date range”. In our client’s business, a Chemist (person who enters the recipe) might start working on a recipe (still in Tentative state) last week and he/she should be able to add components until he/she is done with the recipe. The Phase In Date should not be problem until the Recipe Structure is completed. At the moment, we have to change the Phase In date for the parent or child every time we add a component to the Recipe Structure which is not practical. Can anyone advise how to components to an unfinished recipe structure when it is still in Tentative state? Please refer to attached screenshot for more inf
I have the HR Matrix organization structure setup as follows. Employee A belongs to Company 101. Employee A is connected to position structure 7000 Employee B belongs to Company 102. Employee B is connected to position structure 6000 Employees in Position 7000 reports to Employees in Position 6000 Supervisor Access setup is in place The Purchase Authorization setup is as follows. Employee B is added as a Purchase Authorizer for company 101. Authorization Routing Template is created connecting both positions 6000 and 7000 PO Authorization Rule is also in place. Scenario When a PO is raised for a site connected to company 101, employee A can authorize the PO without any errors. But employee B get the following error. “The Authorizer/Acknowledger ‘B’ is not assigned to position 6000 in company 101 and she is not a superior authorizer or substitute for any of the persons assigned to position 6000” Question Does HR Matrix organization structure extends to Purchase Authorization Rules
Hi, We have a scenario which requires to enter a forecast for a part but want to generate demand/supply for its components as well. We also need to consume the forecast for the parent part. The problem is that the current business process calls for all customer orders to have supply code as Shop Order, therefore we will be generating double demand. This works fine if we change the supply code to Invent Order in the Customer Order. Any idea on how to do this without changing the forecast or the supply code? Thanks!
