I am unable to get Labor Load Details to populate after running CRP. I have Man Labor Hours connected to Shop Order Operations. I also have Labor Classes (all set for groups). We do not house employee information in IFS. I have Crew Size, Labor Classes, etc. entered on routings. As a reference, we are in the process of adding a Scheduling Visualizer Tool (i.e. Manufacturing Visualizer) but I am trying to do all of my prechecks to make sure it is pulling all the correct information. Any insight is helpful! Thanks!
I would like to manipulate the Lot/Batch Number for By-Products as it’s received on the Shop Order. Currently, the Lot/Batch number for By-Product will automatically generate the same Lot/Batch group for the overall order. I would like the By-Product Lot/Batch Number to be in the same family of the component part the by-product was created from. Example of current scenario:Shop Order 123 lot batch number= 123-*-*-1 andBy-Product from that Shop order auto generates lot batch = 123-*-*-2 Goal:Single component used in the Shop Order 123 is from PO 321 therefore, component lot/batch no = 321-*-*-1I would like the By-Product Lot batch to be 321-*-*-2 (same beginning as the component lot batch) when it is received on Shop Order 123. I know the ability to manually enter the information is possible but increases the chances of user error greatly. Can by-product be auto generated to match the sequence of the component lot batch?
I have a user who is trying to use the Copy Revision function for the Product Structure and Recipe Structure. He enters the new part number and set the revision number to 1, but it gives an error saying that a 2nd revision number doesn't exist. We are aware that it does not exist because it is a new part number. Has anyone else run into this issue? If so, how can I fix this? We have the work around of using the Duplicate function and copying over the component information, but this user has been able to achieve this the other way (copy revision) for years and for some reason he has been receiving this error the past month or so.
After making a few updates in the excel field for the add-in, I validate and get the Object does not exist message. I am using the correct search function to pull in the data and it has worked in the past. Will someone please help me understand what went wrong and how to fix this?
I would like to control where MRP schedules a Shop Order based on the Machine No field in the Routings. Is there a way to make Machine No. more than just a preference? For example, I have 1 work center (work center AB) with 2 resources (Resource A and Resource B). In the routing for part number 1234, I put resource A in the Machine No field because part number 1234 can only run on resource A, not resource B. MRP uses Machine No as a preference and if Resource A is at capacity, it will create a Shop Order Requisition for part number 1234 to run on resource B. Is there a way to make MRP schedule resources to run only what's specified in the Machine No field if a resource is entered in?
I have Day Types with the correct minutes for each day. When this information is put into a calendar, some days are not giving the same work time. For example, the Day Type for a Sunday shows 11pm-12am with a working time of 60 minutes. However, when that is added to a calendar, it generates Sunday as a full 480 minutes (8-hr shift). How can I make sure the minutes of a selected day type entered into the calendar does not change?*Correct Day Type Information*Correct Day Type Information needed to reflect in calendarCorrect Day Type Information needed to reflect in calendar*Wrong times reflected in the calendar for the above day types*Calendar Working Time differ than Day Type Working Time**Here is the schedule connected to the Calendar, it is correct**
