We have a requirement where technician from one country should not be able to cross boundary and move to another country to work on a task near the border area of another country. We are not using Division or teams/ skills. Can we use Barrier functionality in PSO to achieve this? If yes how should we configure the barrier points? Any idea/ suggestion?
Hi Team,My PSO user account is getting disabled automatically everyday. In FSM Person record, PSO system user is checked and my user is having SSO Enabled. Is it happening every night after load file is sent to PSO? How to fix this? Please help@Sajith Anushan @anmise @jimmy hultman @Bhanuka Abeygoonawardana @Dakshinie Wickramasinghe
I am trying to use Division/ Region based allocation in PSO. I have done the below configurations: I have updated region in FSM address which is flowing to PSO against the activity. I have created same regions in PSO as Divisions and assigned some technicians against each division I have created the shifts of the technician separately for each division Now my expectation is based on the region of the activity, PSO should allocate a technician who belongs to the same division. But that is not happening. Please note that we are not using team as skill.Am i missing any link here? Please help.@Sajith Anushan @Dakshinie Wickramasinghe @jimmy hultman
Hi Team,When we resource lock a task to the ISP bucket (resource lock and date&time lock), and afterwards we try to commit it. We see that this task then gets committed to today (ie sysdate), and not to the day that it was originally planned (and date&time locked). This creates issues and great risk and impacts ISP bucket implementation deployment.Steps to replicate issue :1. Task is unallocated.2. Try to allocate task to ISP bucket by resource lock and date&time lock to ISP bucket resource.3. Commit the task.4. Task gets committed to today instead of actual date when it was planned. Can some one please help on this urgently?@Sajith Anushan @Bhanuka Abeygoonawardana @Paul Smith
We have 3 countries under one dataset in PSO. All 3 countries want to use different travel time profiles and other parameters. How can we map different profiles for different countries under same dataset?@Sajith Anushan
While creating a person (technician) record, should we first update the start location and end location and then tick the scheduling resource flag to create a scheduling resource record in FSM? Please confirm if this sequence needs to be followed. In our case, we have an interface to create technician wherein we are first updating threesixty_resource flag and then updating start/ end location and sometimes we see multiple scheduling resource ids getting created for the same parent key. Can someone please throw some light on this?
We have a situation where we will not have the full address at the time of appointment request. We will only have city, country and postal code at appointment request and later at the time of slot confirmation, we will have the full address. Since address is a mandatory field in FSM, we want to use some default address per postal code at time of appointment request and update later once we receive actual address at slot confirmation. The question is PSO will show slots based on default address and later when address gets updated co-ordinates will be changed so will there be any known impact on the task or on the PSO schedule with this address update.Note : Default address and actual address both lie in same zip code so we should not have a situation where there is very huge distance between the co-ordinates of the 2 addresses.
