Hi,We have encountered an error with the view FACT_ACTIVITY_CALCULATION_BI which I believe is part of the Analysis Models. The error is:ORA-00904: "ACTIVITY_CLASS_SEQ": invalid identifierHas anyone else experienced this?It seems that it is because the view thinks that "ACTIVITY_CLASS_SEQ" is a column in FACT_ACTIVITY_CALCULATION_OL but that view does contain that column. This is causing failures for us when we are trying to load the data into the SQL database.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,Mark Mruss
Hi Everyone,We are interested in surfacing a customer invoice in an external solution similar to this question: We want to do something similar to the “Reprint Original From Archive”, but we are not sure how IFS determines which item from the archive to use for this? Overall, I have a lot of the solution figured out however I’m not sure how we can properly identify the item within the Report Archive? To get to the PDF we need the ResultKey and the Id from within the ArchiveDocumentSet. I can filter the call to ReportArchive.svc/ArchiveDocumentSet based on what is in the Notes property, But this can result in multiple items if the report has been printed multiple times and feels a little bit like guess work. Is there a better way to determine the correct item within the ArchiveDocumentSet? Any help would be appreciated.
Hi Everyone,We’ve run into an issue after deploying a ‘utility model’ to our database using IFS Developer Studio and the ‘Generate Code and Deploy’ action. We followed that up with a ‘Refresh Dictionary Cache’ actions. We deployed this way to our DEV environment without issue but we are running into problems in our QA environment. After deploying our code we start to get errors when we attempt to create orders in our system using a custom API that was created for us. The code that we deployed is unrelated to this custom API and should not impact it’s functioning in any way:ORA-04061: existing state of has been invalidatedORA-04061: existing state of package "IFSAPP.C_CPQ_CUST_ORDER_UTIL_API" has been invalidatedORA-04065: not executed, altered or dropped package "IFSAPP.C_CPQ_CUST_ORDER_UTIL_API"ORA-06508: PL/SQL: could not find program unit being called: "IFSAPP.C_CPQ_CUST_ORDER_UTIL_API"ORA-06512: at line 1ORA-06512: at "IFSAPP.TRANSACTION_SYS", line 1831ORA-06512: at "IFSAPP.TRANSA
Hi Everyone, I’m sorry but I’m not all that knowledgeable when it comes to IFS. What I am trying to do for our business is generate the Shipment BOL report via API. When I debug IFS it looks like it’s calling ShipmentBillOfLadingRep.svc however when I attempt to replicate the same calls I’m not getting anything useful back. Does anyone know how I can generate the Shipment BOL Report for a specific shipment ID using the IFS API? Perhaps there is a more generic Report API that I should be using instead of the ShipmentBillOfLadingRep.svc API? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mark
HiWe recently encountered an issue where Custom Fields related to the CustomerOrder table could not be published in IEE with the following error: Failed executing statement (ORA-00054: resource busy and acquire with NOWAIT specified or timeout expired) This caused issues throughout IFS because it removed the CUSTOMER_ORDER_CFV, CUSTOMER_ORDER_JOIN_CFV, and CUSTOMER_ORDER_LINE_CFV views from the database. The only solution was to request a restart of the database, fortunately this was not in Production. Support believes that there was a background task that might have cause the issue but they are unable to determine what task it was. Has anyone else experienced something similar? It’s great that we can fix the issue with a database reboot, however we need to know what this happened so that we can prevent it from happening in Production. Thanks
Hi, We are creating some custom views within the IFS Oracle database so that we can pull the data from the views into the IFS BI Module using SSIS packages. Most of the time when I am running the SQL scripts to test the views everything works fine but occasionally we run into errors like the following: ORA-04068: existing state of packages has been discardedORA-04061: existing state of package "IFSAPP.SHIPMENT_CFP" has been invalidatedORA-04065: not executed, altered or dropped package "IFSAPP.SHIPMENT_CFP"04068. 00000 - "existing state of packages%s%s%s has been discarded"*Cause: One of errors 4060 - 4067 when attempt to execute a storedprocedure.*Action: Try again after proper re-initialization of any application'sstate. If I run the script again right after everything works. Does anyone know what causes this error and what we should do to avoid it? Our scripts often make use of IFS Views as they usually have the additional data like Custom Fields that we need. Thanks, Mark Mruss
Hi Everyone, As part of some BI work we need to be able to track an order as it flows through Supply Chain Order Analysis within the oracle database. (E.g. we want to track an order based on the original customer order number, even when the order gets a new order number). We have been looking at the Supply Chain Order Analysis screen and the related SUPPLY_ORDER_ANALYSIS_TAB table in the Oracle database. This table seems to contain the data that we are looking for, however the SUPPLY_ORDER_ANALYSIS_TAB table gets regenerated each time a user visits the “Supply Chain Order Analysis” screen via the supply_order_analysis_api.generate_tree() procedure and will not contain an order unless someone visits that screen for looking for that order. Does anyone know how we could recreate the logic for the supply_order_analysis_api.generate_tree() procedure? It has to be in the database somewhere but I just don’t know where to look. Thanks, Mark Mruss
Hi, Does anyone know how to use the IFS Rest API’s to query for the document text associated with a Customer Order Line? Based on the debug console it looks like I need to use the DocumentTextHandling.svc API. But whenever I try to call it using the following: DocumentTextHandling.svc/NoteTexts(Objkey='{OBJECTKEY}') I get the following response from IFS: { "error": { "code": "ODP_RESOURCE_NOTFOUND", "message": "Resource not found." }} Does anyone now how to use the DocumentTextHandling.svc API? Thanks
