We are a public company. Our auditors are requiring the following reports:IFS Operations Success and Management Cloud Service SOC 1 Microsoft Subservice Organization SOC 1 (For IFS)And obtaining from Todd Williams requires frequent follow up emails to chase after the documentation. Where is this information published so that we can self-serve without sending lots of emails?Thank you!
We’re implementing Vertex O Series On Demand in conjunction with IFS Apps 10 UPD13. Our Vertex implementation team is advising that Apps10 does not appear to have a configuration area to define tax codes for Canada; they only have this screen for the US.Has anyone else configured Vertex for Canada in Apps 10? Perhaps our team is missing something?
We’re integrating IFS Apps 10 to Salesforce via Boomi. We’re finding that the standard APIs as defined in IFS do not contain all of the data elements needed to create or update records in Salesforce and we may be creating custom APIs to achieve our objectives. Are there other customers who have connected Salesforce to IFS via Boomi? It would be helpful to know whether you were able to use standard or had to create custom APIs and other helpful lessons learned as we progress in our journey.
I came across a visual product roadmap deck somewhere in the community, but cannot find it. Can someone please point me to a resource which defines when Apps 10 will go out of support?
Is it possible to know the log off and log on time for users in IFSAPPS10? We’ve researched articles and reached out to our implementation partners. They do not believe that it is possible. With history logging, we’re able to see user activities, but not logoff / logon times. The objective is to know total time in the system for a given period. We’re using this information to assist with training accountability.
Community - We are IFS Apps 10 customers using Aurena. We are hosted by IFS. We are publicly traded and subject to SOX compliance. We use an external GRC tool - Xpandion - which is integrated with IFS. We successfully enabled SOD analysis with our external tool using the IEE interface. We have not been successful enabling SOD analysis within the IFS user interface, nor via Xpandion using the Aurena user interface.Through a number of tickets and paid consulting from IFS, IFS has advised that we should reach out to the IFS community for guidance. Are there any IFS Apps 10 Aurena customers successfully using SOD Analysis within IFS? If so, how? Are there any within that group that are also using an external GRC tool? Thank you!
We use Xpandion for GRC (governance risk and compliance). IEE supports SOD through external sources by providing mapping. However, with Aurena projections, we can’t seem to find the same support and manually mapping 70k projections is impossible. Has anyone connected IFS to an external GRC tool? If so, how have those projection mappings happened for you? If not, has the internal IFS SOD Analysis been sufficient for your SOX compliance and audit needs?
We moved from IFS Apps 8 on prem to IFS Apps 10 cloud this year and are unpleasantly surprised that a good many of our changes require a delivery in order to get applied to the cloud environments and further surprised that we cannot package a delivery ourselves, it must be done by IFS, and therefore again surprised that up to 9 hours of consulting services is charged each time a request is made to package a delivery from scripts / changes we’ve provided. To add further disappointment, it takes days just for a ticket to be acknowledged, so forget release planning. How are others dealing with this? I know this is not an issue for IFS Cloud customers.
We’ve experienced significant challenges with cloud services and support. We’ve been advised that we’ll have a better experience if we upgrade support to Customer Success. Thoughts on Customer Success...is it valuable?
