Hello,I am currently trying to print off customer order attachments automatically based off of a certain custom event I created. My main issue is that there does not seem to be a great way to sort through all of the listed items on the Document Object Connection window and print them off.I would be sorting based off of the object key, which I can do just fine, but I am not sure how IFS workflows can be designed to go through all of the different items in this list. I could do it normally in javascript if there was an object that acted as a list/array, but it seems like workflows want to be built with loop sub processes, to handle lists. Does anyone have an example workflow that I might be able to use for reference? I haven’t found much luck with the technical documentation.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan
Hello,On IFS Cloud, I am currently attempting to take a custom field I created, and populated with data, on the CustomerInfo entity, and have that appear on the Lead - CRM as well as the Opportunity - CRM page. I have attempted to create custom attributes for the BusinessLead/BusinessOpportunity entity that references the custom field I created for CustomerInfo, which, using page designer, appears on the page, but sadly it does not populate with any data. I have also created a projection that takes the CustomerInfo/BusinessLead entities and maps them together by the CustomerID, but doing so does not help as this new Projection is not tied into the BusinessLead page. In the Configure standard projection page, I cannot search for the CustomerInfo entity, to tie it to the BusinessLead entity, as it does not appear.How exactly can you pull a custom field into a page that has a different entity?
Hello,I am currently working on automatically getting Pick Lists to get created once a Customer Order has everything in stock, while taking into account its backorder option.Is there an option in IFS Cloud to automatically generate Pick Lists for Customer Orders? Currently we have to manually create Pick Lists via the “Create Pick Lists for Customer Orders” page. I have the print agent set up so whenever a pick list is created, it automatically prints, but its getting the pick list to automatically get generated where the issue remains.How do I approach this? Would I need to create a workflow? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan
Hello,I am currently using IFS Cloud and I have created a scheduled database task to run every 2 minutes, and check if a Consolidated Pick List is ready for creation in the “Create consolidated Pick List for Customer Order” page. I have the parameter set up so it only applies to customer orders with site 100, but its triggering other sites as well.Any advise would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan
Hello,I am creating Custom Layout Definitions using Crystal Report.I am currently having issues with the Service Quotation and the Service Order Acknowledgement. Since these two Operational Reports use the same Report Definition, and the same View, I cannot tell which report the user wants to print. I would like to have 2 buttons like IFS has, where one prints the Service Quotation and the other Prints the Service Order Acknowledgement, but from what I can tell, there is no way to do that.There is nothing in the table/view you can base your operation on as they use the same table/view, and 99% of the data is the exact same. The only thing different is the title of the report, and the fact that the Service Order Acknowledgement has a acknowledgement statement added to the page. Do I really have to have the user manually determine which one they want in the popup print window when they are already hitting the print button?Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan
Hello,I noticed that my shipment pro forma invoice was not populating with price/value data, and I noticed that there was another IFS Community question that asked about CustomsValue. Someone mentioned that the CustomsValue will be inherited from the Customer Order page, and go to the Shipment page. Even when I populate the CustomsValue field for Customer Order, it never changes the Shipment CustomsValue field. How can I tweak the transfer of data so that what I want occurs?Thanks,Bryan
Hello, Shipment Proforma invoice uses a field called customs value to display pricing for items. One issue, however, is that my customs value is not populating. I realized that this customs value is getting pulled from the Customer Order Line entity. I can manually set the value there and have it carry over to the shipment proforma invoice screen, but I wanted to get it to populate automatically.Is there a way I can do that? I’m not sure if its a setting that I would have to set, or if I would have to create a workflow with a projection configuration.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks,Bryan
