update to the situation: we have discovered that this is happening to any job where PSO has committed the job to an engineer then removed the commit from the engineer due to the engineer not accepting the job. From this point onwards the job wont be committed by PSO, although it can be committed manually
An update to this question. We have a solution that the user is willing to accept. Weve shown the user how to use shortcut keys to make their monitor monochrome while using FSM. its ham-fisted, I know, but it solved the problem.
Please see attached. Both the “Show” button and the “REQUEST ID” tab hover highlight colour are purple, despite the UI theme color having been changed to Red. our user is reacting really badly to that purple (Migraine and tearing eyes). they are also different tones of the purple but still they both give the user the reaction but no other colours.
Thank you @BrianG, we made changes to our custom stock screens to match the new schema and all is well now. thank you for your answer
Thank you for your answer @Kalpani. why would such a convoluted method be necessary? it is a checkbox, after all, and for it to be “normally” unusable seems absurd.
thank you so much for your assistance. That worked a treat!
thanks Sajith, that done the trick. I think maybe that should be a more relevant label on that checkbox, then I may have found it myself. thanks for all your help
hi Sajith, yes we are using 6.7. we are also using “PSO Workbench - Resource Columns” and that is what i cant get to update to the schedule workspace resources
thank you Saranga, thats excellent. youve been a great helpRob
Thank you Sajith for putting my mind at ease that I wasn’t missing something. I’d discovered all the edit options in the Scheduling Workspace and the creation and deletion in the Planning Workspace. I just need to do a little retraining of operatives before go-live. thank you for your expert help
ARP? if i’m in the SCHEDULING WORKSPACE can I add a Private Activity directly to the Resource shift just as I can in 360?
hi Sajith, yes i tried that before i posted this question. i thought at the time logically that doesnt cut it, but ill give it a go. turns out i was correct and it didnt give the desired result. i want the shift groups that contain “NR” but not the ones that contain “PM”. for example the shift group “NR A&B” would satisfy the criteria but the shift group “NR A&B PM” would not.thank you for your helpRob
