I just figured in out. The “-” was causing the issue. I changed the alias to 31 to 60 days and it worked. Here is the finished labels that are working.
Thank you for the suggestion Nalaka. They were text to start for the type, I changed them to number in hopes of eliminating the error. I get the same error described above with both test and number as type.
Here is the screenshot.
@ThushAsanka Thank you for the quick response. I just ran the report and it worked perfectly!
Thank you, William. I also only know how to create them on a screen, not a wizzard.Mike
Thank you, Bjorn. Will will pursue the patch installation.
This is the error:
Response from IFS support:Thank you for contacting IFS Global Support for your assistance. I have reviewed your case and there have been the same issue that was reported to RnD previously via solution ID 281497.RnD states that "The sticky notes in the application didn’t work as expected in the design. Therefore, we had to do further improvements on this page to make it easy for use and as a result of that we introduced notes which can view against the days.Ex: Stickies did not displayed the notes against the date and have to click on arrows to go next to see the note in the next sticky. With the new improvement, at a glance user can see the dates which notes are available in both time card day and time card week.Since this is available in the application we will not going to do further improvement on sticky notes. "
I have three LU’s on that screen, One for the main and two of the tabs that show up in Object Connections. Only one matches the LU name and View name match.Mike
Yasas_AK,I looked at both of those KBA’s before I posted my question. My user can create sticky notes, just not on one particular screen, time card day.Thank you for your response.Mike
Thank you for the information William!
Nick - Yes I have tried the global check box and it did not help.Shawn - thanks for the information. I will pursue with IFS.
Nick and Shawn thank you for the quick responses.Nick, no the global is not what I need. When I save the search on our Business Opportunities screen, the searches do not end up on the saved searches screen.Shawn, it does look like I have context menu for RMB of the Business Opportunites screen and there are some saved searches there, I just can’t add anymore. I have poked around some more since I asked my question and found that it is only the Business Opportunites screen that has the issue(that I know of) The Business Oppotunity screen functions fine with the saved searches. The one thing I have noticed is the “_cust” on Object Relations area of the window in question for the Parent: Any idea if that means it is a custom screen? Maybe that will help fingure out what is going on? One last piece of info, we upgraded from Apps 9 to Apps 10 in October 2020.
Thank you Shawn!
ShawnBerk - thanks for the feedback. I have found the filter you show for the matrix view. I am trying to take the inactive users from showing up in the PDF report that we send to management. Ay ideas on that one?
