Funny how you ask a question and then find the answer yourself! For reference - Person Id from session details is:&APPOWNER.PERSON_INFO_API.Get_Id_For_User(&APPOWNER.FND_Session_API.Get_Fnd_User) User Id (or identity) is:&APPOWNER.FND_Session_API.Get_Fnd_User
“By the way time for an upgrade :)” - Haha tell me about it! If only we could. Shop Orders using Time Clock bookings is what we looked at. Can you retro-book to capture times?
Did you get a fix for this? We have a semi-manual solution in IFS2003! When an Access Template is changed to add an individual (for whatever reason) we added a custom Right Mouse Button to run: hWndForm.frmDocumentAccessTemplate.DbPLSQLTransaction( hWndForm.frmDocumentAccessTemplate.c_hSql, "IFSAPP.DOCUMENT_ISSUE_ACCESS_API.UPDATE_FROM_TEMPLATE(:i_hWndFrame.frmDocumentAccessTemplate.cmbsDocClass.i_sMyValue)" )
Hi - we have done that, but between IFS2003 and SAP ByDesign. We use SAP for financials (its a long story) and only hold gross stock levels. IFS is master source of data for stock levels, Order Point Planning etc. to generate demand. Purch Reqs are raised in IFS & approved, pushed to SAP via CSV file. Loaded into SAP. Req to PO done by Procurement, SAP pushes.CSV containing the PO details to IFS, API written to transact in IFS using std api calls (including PO updates from SAP). PO Receipts in IFS produce a CSV file, pushed to SAP in the same way. Finally Stock movements (excluding PO Receipts) are sent at end of day. All automated. It works until master data is not kept up to date.
Thanks for the reply - however, what happens is the product is Unissued from the first Order, but NOT issued to the Split Shop Order. It does a put-to-stock (i.e. it appears as Inventory Stock witha Qty Onhand (!) under Overview- Inventory Part In Stock). I have discovered that the one difference is that the Inv Part is setup as “Cost Per Job” which I beleive causes this issue. If I change to “Cost Per Lot Batch” (not sure if this is a mod or Std), then splitting the Shop Order does not generate the unwanted UNISS.

Thanks for the response. My solution - I launched Event Wizard (the thing you only ever use once - at install ) and went through each step until I got to the Mail Host (which oddly, isn’t kept in a IFM file contrary to the documents attached). At the step that asks for the Mail Host, I entered the correct value, an on clicking NEXT, it prompts me to save, which I did. I then cancelled out, and this set the mail host.
