Hi Takashi, Yes, you need to configure the firewall to allow the access to the IFS Application. Seems like you are already going in the correct path. Regards,Denam
In that case, you have to use the action type “Query”. Get implies Get by key and Query is equal to Get all.
Hi Sachini, When you click on configure button of connector you can give the input parameters in the Parameters tab These parameters are based on the request profile that was generated by the connector when importing the API. (Note that, there are multiple ways to give input to a connector which is common to all of the connector in Boomi) Regards,Denam
Hi Sachini,The answer to your first question is that when your application instance is accessible over the internet, you can use both cloud and local atoms. However, if your IFS application is only accessible within your organization's network (intranet) and is bound to a proxy, then you have to use a local atom because the local atom uses the host machine's connection to connect to the IFS Application. In addition, the Community article is the same as the Boomi article. Is it possible to connect to the IFS Application using a generic connector such as Http client, Odata client in Boomi. ---Reply :- I am using IFS REST Partner connector --> I was asking if you can connect to the application through a generic connector to check if the issue is specific to the IFS REST Partner connector. Please let me know if you have any further questions or if there's anything else I can assist you with. Thank you.Denam
Hi Sachini, Below are some articles related to importing a self-signed certificate to Boomi, Community article: Boomi article:https://community.boomi.com/s/article/Connecting-to-an-IFS-Applications-server-using-a-self-signed-certificate Article on downloading the certificate:https://medium.com/@menakajain/export-download-ssl-certificate-from-server-site-url-bcfc41ea46a2 Btw, it doesn’t seems like an certificate related issue. Can you please go through with below key point to identify the exact issue here.Hope your username/password is correct. Did you use a local atom? (If your application instance is bound to a proxy) Is it possible to connect to the IFS Application using a generic connector such as Http client, Odata client in Boomi. Regards,Denam
Hi Balazs, It seems like you are having some certificate issue with the atom. Please follow the community post to import the SSL certificate into your atom and remember to restart the atom before proceeding. I hope this will fix the error. Thanks. Hi Denam, Thank you so much for your answer. Our team reviewed the certificates on Boomi side and you were right! Issue was with the certificates. Briefly: With our previous test environment, we used self-signed certificates, when the IFS app server issued the certificate. But with the new test App server we have a different method to issue the certificates. We reviewed our certificates in Boomi, then re-imported the certificate which fits for the new App server and the issue is gone. Thank you very much again for the help! Kind regards, Balazs Great to hear that Balazs./Denam

Hi hhy38, Thank you very much for your comments. We switched on the compatibility mode: If I understood correctly: we can reach the /main/ only with OAuth authentication we can reach the /int/ with basic authentication if we switch on the Compatibility mode as I know from our Boomi developer, Boomi can call only /main/ layer. But if Boomi can use only Basic authentication - and can’t use OAuth authentication - as it is written in that Boomi page - which is not available in /main/ layer, how this can work at all? :) An interesting fact is this whole structure worked in a different test environment and we don’t know why it is not working now. Thank you very much any thoughts! Regards, Balazs Hi,The IFS REST Partner Connector is capable of calling /int layer APIs. You can find that when importing the API, where it will appear as “integration” for the projection category input. Please refer to the below screenshot. Thanks.
Hi,You have set the wrong value for the Bound Entity set name as per your snapshot. The ObjKey will be the Bound entity set parameter and “SimpleWorkReportingSet” is your Bound entity set name. It will be better if you can use a set property before the last connector shape to set those values (BoundEntitySetName & BoundEntitySet Parameters are Document properties of the connector). I have attached the snapshots for both values below.Bound Entity Name: Bound Entity Params: Thanks.DenamB
