Hello @Narsi, Thank you for the prompt response. Unfortunately, the solution URL is not accessible to users who are outside of the IFS network. But, if your system is currently below UPD6, you can create a Support case and request for the fix unless if you don’t have plans to upgrade in to a higher UPD level soon.For your convenience, I will add the Bug Description below. How search null in enumeration type

Hello @DalKylekY,I believe your expectation is when an enumeration is "Required=false" (i.e. is nullable) the Aurena client needs to provide an option to filter for empty values?Currently the Aurena client supports searching for a specific value or several values of an enumeration. It does not support searching for empty values (NULL values), negation of a value or any other logical combinations of those.Hope this answers your question. Cheers!

Hello @aravindhan,If you have checked all the above mentioned steps, could you please log in to the WebLogic Admin Console and check if all the deployments are at the “Active" state? If not, try to start them manually.Also, what is the login method that you use to log in to the application? (SSO, LDAP, Db authentication)?Have you restored this environment by using a clone of a different environment? (Database or IFS home)? If so, roll back the changes and check again.Check HttpServer access logs to find if the requests are being rejected by the http server.Please upload a screen shot of the configuration.xml file (Need to check the value of <ifs.system.url>) Cheers!

Hello @proharikg , Glad to hear that the issue has been resolved. Since the issue was resolved after providing required permissions, I think that is not related to a data source issue (user sessions issue) If you get such issue in future, kindly try the steps that I mentioned above as well (If you cannot figure out the exact error). Those steps can be used if there are no known errors with user sessions in the Database end but in the IEE.Hope this is clear with you :) Cheers!

Hello @proharikg ,If this is APPS10, could you please try below steps?a. Log into the “IFS Middleware Server Admin Console” as “ifs” user.b. Then navigate into Main Cluster -> Data Sources -> Control C. Click on the ‘Plsql-Access’ row and click ‘Restart’d. After that, restart the application. and check if the issue is still available.Impact of performing the restart: This will refresh the connection pool. And there will be no impact for the ongoing users/session. The process will refresh only the available connections.In Apps9, you need to follow the same steps for the data source value.Cheers!

Hello @aravindhan,There can be several reasons to get this kind of issue while trying to log in to the Application.Database is not running during the time that you are trying to log in to the application. Therefore the deployments are not working as expected.If so, please do a proper restart to Middleware server and the database server.Shutdown Middleware server. Shut down database. Restart database. Restart Middleware serversIf you use a self-signed certificate, check if the certificate has been created correctly with correct information.If there is a Proxy/LB available, check if the <ifs.system.url> is correct?Check if you are using a valid certificate to log in to the application. Check whether clearing browser cache resolves the issue. Also try to launch the application from within an InPrivate or Incognito mode browser tab - this will ignore cache. Cheers!

When Copying PO - don't want custom fields to copy

Hello @jhooperyan,You can create a custom event that is triggered when new lines are saved for the new PO (when you are copying a purchase order). But, if you have any read only custom fields which are not editable, you have to change them into editable ones (Otherwise it won't let you to remove the values by the event). Also you need to consider if those custom fields are linked to other windows as well. If they are linked, the solution may be affect to other windows as well.But, there can be a delay happen to remove the custom field values from the copied PO (New PO) as the event action (Link to custom event) needs to run as a background job (The reason for this delay is the time that it takes to finish the background job)I'm not sure if there is another possible way is available to implement this requirement, as we can not override the insertion function using configurations. So what you can do is update the record with correct values after the insertion using a custom event.Hope th

But, please note that you need to apply changes to the relevant .cs file and do some code changes using IFS Developer Studio. Command_SYS.Mail - new line

Hello @NMALKI ,If you set up your mail_sender with content-type : text/plain, as @Charith Epitawatta mentioned you will be able to use chr(13) character to add a new line to the email body without using <br> tag . If you really want to use this setting, then you'll lose any markup (HTML). Please refer the attached screen shot from one of our test environments for further clarification.Try to setup like this way to use chr(13) characters in your email body. In Oracle \n character is not supported to add new lines.Cheers!

IFS APPS 10 - LOBBY - BAR CHART ELEMENT - TOP -N MISSING

Hello @randallkern,Before approaching bar chart configuration, it should be mentioned that the correct data source configuration is required for a chart to display a valid visualization. You should define a data source by setting the columns with their correct data types in order to meet the expected outcome when it is used in a chart. When using a correctly configured data source for a chart, you will select X and Y axes columns. Y axis column is generally expected to be numerical since this will be used to for formatting/aggregation operations. Lobby element designer suggests the column with the most appropriate data type by highlighting them in bold when using the X and Y axes column drop-downs. As @Novishan Dissanayake mentioned, TopN is enabled for bar charts by default, and it uses to control the amount of data fetched from the database. So, if you configure the data source correctly as mentioned above, the TOP-N option will be available.Cheers!

Hello @Anastassia.Efimova,If you have plans to upgrade in to a higher UPD level, the recommendation from our Product Development team is to take the latest UPD currently available which is UPD18. Please find the attached document which includes the changes available in the UPD18.Kindly note that UPD deliveries are cumulative. Therefore, if you take the latest UPD, it will include all the changes up to the latest UPD level (UPD18). Cheers!

If you have an APPS9 environment, the reported wrong sql query selection issue has been resolved via the Bug ID: 145847 delivered via UPD14. (In APPS10 this fix was delivered via UPD4).For your second question, could you please restart the batch queues and check again?Cheers!

Apps10 UPD11 - Oracle 19c Version 19.8

Hello @jporter ,As per the Technical documentation, the generic recommendation on having latest available release update revision of the Oracle supported database version is applicable to Oracle 19c as well. Hello @Hans Andersen , Yes, the pdf_parameters are set by the code. The thing is that you will have to create separate event actions for each report that you want to send emails. You can change the values for the conditions by using the “Conditions for performing this action” option. Also, the parameter values can be assigned as mentioned in the F1Doc like below.Defining default values for event parameters of the above PDF_REPORT_CREATED event can be done in Report Definition file (.rdf) of each report. Default values for PDF_PARAMETER_1 to PDF_PARAMETER_10 can be defined this way using interface in PdfReportEventParam logical unit.You can set values as per your choice by using the above mentioned method or add conditions as mentioned in the f1 documentation.Hope this helps.Cheers!

Data is constantly increasing in APP9 tables

Hello @WSHAH, As @Tomas Ruderfelt mentioned, there is a separate database task used in IFS which is called “Shrink Lob Segments” to handle large sized LOBs. But, from Oracle 12C onwards, there’s a mechanism called “Oracle Advanced Compression” is available to handle large sized objects in a Database. However, due to some reasons, even with the above mentioned mechanism the LOBS sizes are being increased unexpectedly. So you can try to setup “Shrink LOB Segments job” and check if it works for the large sized LOBS. But remember that, if you run this job for the first time, it will take a large amount of time (May be about two days) to complete. Here, I have attached a description on how to setup “Shrink LOB Segments job”. 1. First You need to create a Database Task with following information. 2. Then save it and create a new schedule to run the created database task.When you schedule the “Shrink LOB Segments” database task to be run, please set it in a non-peak time when the users

Hello @Srikanth ,Yes, these messages are not created or assigned by a user. These are generated from WebLogic end. There is a fix available in UPD9; the solution 281112 (Bug ID: 153502). Furthermore, to figure out where this message is originating from you can execute the following query in the environment and see if it has any results.
