I have implemented the IFS 8 Print agent on as windows server. The print agent starts and the log shows no errors. It successfully connects to the application but does not see the print jobs in the queue. The queue shows all jobs in “remote waiting” status. When I turn on debug in the print agent it shows it is “getting remote job” followed by “no jobs found” even though there are jobs in the queue. Just wondering if you made any progress with this issue? We have the same problem but only with one report - others configured for the same PA and other PAs print fine.It only seems to affect invoices created in a batch on a background job.
Hi Ruby,We are experiencing a similar problem with Vertex O series integration. This started occuring around the middle of March and we have had no update to IFS code so assumed the issue was with Vertex. However, they enabled logging at their end and this showed the http request from IFS containing multiple invoice lines from different invoices but all having the same invoice number. The Vertex integration uses database procedures to send XML and there is no logging in IFS that we can see. Please provide an update if you know to any fix or further information etc.Kind regardsPete
Thanks for the replies, We have looked into the ID automation before and it does seem like a good option. However, we trialled the demo version and found the report took a long time to render. OK for the odd ad-hoc single page but no good if you are running a large batch.
The navigator is a compressed xml (xml.gz) file in the client folder on the MWS. You need 7 zip or equivalent to uncompress it but I’m not sure how you would then get it in to Excel in a friendly format. Hope this helps.
