Thanks, Paul! That clears it up.
We use sticky notes very frequently for communication and collaboration. We have them on almost every Customer Order, Customer, and Project because it shows information very visibly to any person that goes to that record. I don’t think it needs to be a STICKY in Aurena, but some functionality needs to exist to serve that purpose. A migration plan also needs to exist to move existing stickies into Aurena.
Will this ever be on the roadmap? We often need to restrict screens by field, particularly on Customers but also for Managers versus standard employees.
Rick, thanks for the response. Right now we are on APPS10 UPD7 and therefore the context only allows us 1 for our company. I believe that switches to Roles in UPD8 or 9? Can I make a field Read-Only via context?Scenario - We want to mark a Business Opportunity as a top one for our company, however, we only want our top-level managers to make that designation. We want all salespersons to see the selection. We created a Custom Field for the selection, however, the ability to make that custom field read-only on some and not others is the issue.
I have same question. Tool Tip Edit capability would be incredibly helpful!
To help anyone else, Aurena allows you to leverage custom fields, events, and lobbies. However, you must develop these in IEE and then implement them in Aurena. I think the shift with Cloud is that you will create those in Aurena, rather than IEE. But I think in Apps10 or Cloud you can use those items, it’s just where they are developed that changes.
Hi, Yes, I have that set as Decimal 2 places, and use grouping. SettingField in Aurena Field in IEEConfig in IEE
I was able to confirm, the setting works on custom fields on Native LUs, but the issue we are having is currency settings on Custom LU. Is this not supported?
Any update on whether this functionality will be integrated into Aurena?
@paul harland - That roadmap solution sounds great! I am guessing that is in a Cloud Release?
We’d also like to support this feature as adding custom fields to CRM panel would make it more usable.
@Banu Liyanapathirana @EntNadeeL - I have same question as David. The Custom LU i want to display in Form View like i would in IEE on a Custom Tab. I do not want my data to display as a List. However I do not see a way to do this with IFS through Binding. We are currently in IFS Apps 10 UPD11. The List view is too cumbersome for the data we are dealing with.Any update would be appreciated as we are working to transition our IEE items to Aurena. The changes we are trying to achieve allow us to start to move away from Sticky Notes which Aurena does not allow. Thank you Carrie
Thanks! I do not have access to that because I am not an employee. I am a customer. Thanks!
That would be great Jeewaka. Thank you!
We have same issue with customers and have not found a way to exclude from customer lists. Would like to see a solution introduced in the program since it seems a fairly common thing to need to inactive customers (whether old or duplicates). We have instituted a process where we rename the customer with DNU (Do Not Use) at the front of the customer name so users know not to select. But not having them show is the more ideal choice.
I would also like to know how many columns these lists views are limited to. On work tasks I attempted to reduce it down to columns we needed (47 columns) and it capped out at 40 columns. Is this limitation set somewhere? Is there anyway to overcome this? We are in 23R1.
