@binura92 URL doesnt work for me. It prompts for a login which doesn't accept my customer login. If you are only able to use the _REP suffixed views, how do you add supplementary and key information to the document?! The _REP views are limited in the data held within. Tried grant to IFSINFO but this too didn't work.
@Minoshini Fonseka We are using Apps 8.
@binura92 Yes this is an operational report. It is the purchase order report we are replacing with a Crystal. How do you enable crystal logging? I ensured IAL was granted to IFSPRINT but still get error Can you use IALs in operational reports as I have read you can only use report table i.e PURCHASE_ORDER_PRINT_REP? As you can imagine, we need to bring supplier, purchase order, linked project and work order information onto to the document.
Hi The IAL comprises of the following views joined: ifsapp.purchase_order_print_rep ifsapp.purchase_order ifsapp.purchase_order_line_all ifsapp.work_order_requis_purch ifsapp.active_separate within the Select there is a call to a custom API/Function but this again is looking at a core IFS view. Thanks @Pawel Lenczewski for your response. We are planning to re-config the IFS environment on Middleware to point to the ‘Live DR Database’ hosted on TEST Oracle server and also reconfig the authentication for SSO to point to a different DC. The server names are remaining the same via DNS; however the IT guys are failing over to a mirrored copy of the Windows servers which have different IP addresses. So effectively i will login to the MW environment using the fail over IP address to perform the reconfig of IFS. The fact in sys parameters etc we refer to the server name, in theory all IFS Systems such as PSO, Doc Mgmt and Mobile should work as expected. We have users logging in to test the various areas during the DR test. What are your thoughts on the above? Do you foresee any issues? Thanks again Shaun
Hi, It doesn't appear straight away after turning it on, but it does appear for logged in users after a period of time. Not sure what the time is and if that can be configured; but from experience it doesn’t take long for it to appear. Those logging in after activation will see it straight away. Users can close the message by clicking the x button on the message.
Hi We are using Apps 8 and this is achieved using Broadcast Messages. (Solution Manager->User Interface->Broadcast Messages) This allows you to send a message to all users which scrolls across the top of the screen for a set period of time. I typically use this to notify users of IFS planned outages to carry out maintenance tasks such as patch deployments. Regards Shaun
HiWhat version of IFS are you using? We are using Apps 8 with 360 Scheduling/PSO and Mobile. Is the issue with the WO going from IFS client to 360 scheduling/PSO or the other way? This may be related to the IFS scheduled task which sends the data for scheduling; check background jobs to see how the task is performing and the frequency of how this task.RegardsShaun
Thanks for the SQL; this is really interesting and something i will use for analysis on any performance issues.I notice a difference between @durette and @alanbclark SQL scripts in that the percentage columns return very different results and this is the field used for ordering the highest consuming job. @alanbclark percentage column seems to have values for most lines and the value seems sensible, whereas @durette only a small number have a value returned in percentage and the rest are empty. Are you able to explain why different?Which of the two SQL statements should be more accurate to use?RegardsShaun
Hi,Thanks for your response. However this is not 100% what is required. We are looking for a list of ALL users (regardless of status) and against each user looking for the date they were created in IFS and if inactive, the date they were made inactive.RegardsShaun
