Hi Marcelle, Please check whether the ‘Completed’ check box is selected in the time card day. If the day is not completed application does not allow to authorize and will give the mentioned error message. The reported time has to be equal to the scheduled time for the employee. I believe if the employee enters the pending clocking for the day, the day would get completed. Then time card can be authorized. P.S. You can use the ‘Work hour rule parameters’ allow employees to complete the day with differences to the schedule time. Hope this would help. Thank You.
Hi Sachith, I am afraid to say that HR Matrix structure will not assist your requirement. Even if the employee B is assigned to a matrix structure which is common to both the companies, that does not give Employee ‘B’ the access to company 101. Always there has to be a separate employee ID for each company if the user expects to work there. (Even HR related work) Matrix structure is basically used to share a common organization and position structure between companies. However, it never provide employees to access other companies the matrix structure is linked to. You can use Supervisor Access Setup instead. Hope this explains. Shehan Almeida.
Hi, You cannot delete the voucher entry once it is created. However, you can update the voucher to the GL and go to the Voucher Details and Cancel it. This will create a reversal voucher automatically. Hope this would help. Thanks, Shehan.
Hi, I believe you are receiving the error message says ‘Currency Amount and not Currency ‘Account’. Please correct me if I’m wrong. If it is currency amount not balance issue ..There can be many reasons for this error. Most common once are given below… Tax amount in the Invoice Header and Lines are not balances. Go to the customer invoice and check the tax amount in the header and compare with the tax amounts in the invoice lines. Discounts. Go to the customer invoice and check the discount amount mentioned in the line and compare them with the line discount details (which you can get from RMB on the invoice line and selecting ‘Invoice Line Discounts) Hope this helps. Hi Jennett, If the balance was fixed in previous year then it this balance must be coming from new transactions posted year 2018. As I mentioned above it will require further investigations to identify the root cause of the issue. As a starter you run the balance analysis for each period (including period 0) of 2018 and check whether in which period this a problem starts.
Hi, Do you have any GL transactions which were migrated from a previous version of IFS? If the answer is ‘yes’ that must be a reason for the currency balance difference as in previous versions it did not have the validation to balance it. In this type of scenarios you can post a manual voucher to a temporary account with Amount 0.00 and parallel currency Amount as $1.50 (Debit or credit). This will update the GL’s parallel currency balance. As the offset entry you can use a statistic account with zero amount and Parallel currency amount as debit or credit $1.50. Please note that this is a temporary solution and it might need further investigation if you want to identify the real root cause for the currency imbalance. You can try this in a test environment and verify. Thanks, Shehan Almeida.
Hi Alisha, You can use Balance Definitions and Work Hour Rules to accrue hours as balances. However, if you can further clarify your requirement it will be easier to guide. Best Regards, Shehan Almeida.
Hi Mattias, I’m not sure whether I got your question correctly…However, If your question is whether we can change the information of the printed layout before it is being printed, the answer is No. You will have to change the layout always. If you are going to make any changes the standard layout it is always recommended to make all changes in a copy of the original. Hope this helps. Otherwise you can further elaborate the question. Best Regards,Shehan Almeida.
Hi Mattias, You can get this property when you do RMB on the invoices lines and select properties. There is a Tab called View Credit Lines. See the attached screen print for more details. Hope it this would help. Thank you,Shehan Almeida.
