Hi,I would like to receive a price list from a supplier.I have a BizApi for that, but I think I need to receive XML as a message.Is it possible to get that incoming message from an e-mail? And how is that setup?I have a Connector Reader called MAIL_READER1. If I setup an inbox here, where will I then find the messages?I’m on IFS9.BR Kresten

How to get via API endpoint (version 6.5) byte[] Array data (images from metrix_image_view)

Monitor schedules / Integration schedules time fields

There are three columns on the Integration schedules screen, Trigger, Last Run and Next Run. If you schedule the task running daily, those columns do include HH:MM data. I’m wondering in which time zone those fields are?? Also, Integration Scheduling Wizard includes HH:MM field. Local Time zone?Here is a picture clip which causes confusion:

Hi FolksWhat is the most convenient way to manage team/crew members? Is the Resource Navigator the only tool? For example, 5 teams/brigades of 2-3 people go to the field every day, but the composition of the teams may change every day. Maybe some mobile solution for the composition of the team management?

Update purchase orders

We plan purchase order lines for 8 weeks in the future in connection with the lead time of some part numbers. Somethings the price of the supplier changes during this weeks.For example we plan now for 8 weeks and next week the supplier send a update of the purchase price + 1,-. The purchase department changes the supplier for purchase part per the valid from date but the purchase order lines which have been created in the past are not up to date anymore.Does anyone know if there is an option in IFS to update the prices automatically? Or how we can update the purchase orders lines?

I want to restrict the account codes available as part of the pre-postings when employees raise purchase/material requisitions. Although I have created a saved search, I do not appear to have the option to set a default, showing only a few of the options.

Lot/Batch no in RMA

Is it normal that IFS (Apps8) does not make any live control on the lot/batch number when receiving parts into stock from a RMA ?IFS should suggest the different lot/batch no related the customer order line. Today, we can enter a lot No totally different from the shipment.Is there a way to do so ?

Customer Payment - BAI file

When loading a BAI file into IFS, how does IFS distinguish customer invoices from the remitter name in detail record 6, positions 51 - 80( using BAI 80 )? These positions, according to the functional specifications, list these positions as either invoice numbers of a 15 character remitter name and on 9 digit invoice number. How does IFS distinguish and invoice number from a remitter name? In testing we had remitter names showing up as invoices to match.We are using APPS 9

The layout file does not exist in database.

I have a report layout that runs fine for 2 companies in our IFS system but gets this error: “The layout file does not exist in database.” for the 3rd company. All 3 companies are using the same report layout. Can anyone help me solve this issue? Routing Address-File-Output File Name Adjustments Needed

Apps 10: Trying to set up Routing Rules to send Report Designer Report PDF to Connect saving the PDFs off to a Network File Share. Need to include the order number or invoice number or pick list number etc as part of the file name so users can easily find the PDF. This should be standard file naming to include the object name for users to be able to locate specific files. I am not finding anything that shows how to configure this. Output File set up has the %TAG=ANY_MESSAGE_VARIABLE% option but what this means isn’t explained anywhere in the documentation. Would be great to have more in depth instructions around these processes.

SSRS Extension DLLs not configured as WIA for Operational Reports

when SSRS Extension is installed for Database Authentication or LDAP; The IFS SSRS DLL for IFS Operational and Quick Report are installed. Created New SSRS Site installed IFS SSRS Extension using WIA authentication option. The IFS SSRS Extenstion DLLs for Quick Report was installed and NO dlls was configured for Operational Report. No PDF report returned from Crystal Web Service

Customer plan schedule not showing in Part Availability Planning App9

We have a customer schedule that has the call off’s coming into the Inventory Part Availability Planning screen, however we have plan schedules for the same customer that are coming through for part Y but not part X. Part Y and X are on the same customer agreement and all settings that I can see are identical. I have tried in our test system setting up new customer agreement and new schedules but I am getting the same results, therefore I am thinking it is a setting else where in the system but I am unsure where to look, any advise would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance for any answers

HR Module link to other modules

Hello,We are currently using IFS Apps 8, and have been asked to provide a presentation illustrating the importance of the HR module within IFS to other key modules and processes.For example, we know service&maintenance relies heavily on the HR module for employee record, scheduling etc especially when you add the PSO (360) module into the equation. So in essence if we were to not use IFS HR module, what wouldn’t we be able to do in IFS anymore?Is there a document or illustration which maps the link between HR and other modules within IFS?Alternatively if you can provide a bullet point list of areas that require the HR module that also would be great.Any feedback would be appreciatedRegardsShaun

Change to Shop Order not reflecting straight away on the Visualizer

Hi all,We have experienced an issue where the visualizer tool tip isn’t updating correctly (sometimes!)An example from some time ago shows that our planner went to the visualizer and hovered over the relevant part of the bar and got this. As you can see the Op Load on Week and Total Operation Load show 5.2The times on the shop order had been amended prior to this check (a day before) to reflect a new Op Load on Week and Total Operation Load of 4.5 so was confused as to why the above was still showing the wrong figures. He had logged out of IFS and logged back in fresh the next day so it wasn’t a refreshing issue. When he had manually run a Schedule Shop Order from the RMB menu on the shop order header it then updated the tooltip to reflect the new time. The odd thing is that every time I try to replicate the problem it seems to work fine without me having to schedule the shop order however I have had other people report the same issue (very intermittently) so I am wondering if anyon
