Is it possible to pay a Supplier Invoice in a different currency than Invoice Currency?

Hi all, Has anyone ever tried to pay a Supplier Invoice in a different currency than the Invoice Currency?We have received an Invoice in Angolan Kwanza, but we don’t have a Kwanza account. Now the bank is rejecting a fx. trade upon payment. Therefore we got the idea to pay the invoice in USD instead. Anyone knows if this is possible to trigger from IFS?

Freezing forecast in Demand Client for Metrics?

Is it possible to freeze a given forecast within a specific window out of the box while allowing a horizon in the future adjust whenever ‘create forecast’ is run? Does the lead time factor into this within the client or is it just another data point? I’m aware that i could go item by item, toggle the padlock and then move forecasts per period one by one, but it’d be great if they could be locked and the standard ctrl, shift, drag functionality would work. I’d like to use the metrics within IFS so i can compare a lag-1 or a lag-3 forecast’s accuracy/bias/adjustment factor/etc.

Crystal Report Error

Hi,Currently got an error on a couple of Crystal reports, these reports have worked in the past, we have recently upgraded to Apps9 Upd 17 and I’m not sure if this report has been tested since the update ( but other Crystal reports are working so the Crystal runtime has been installed correctly ) the report hasn’t been amended recently so nothing has changed...The error in the error log is:[IFSCRWebSetupIFS9L]-ERROR in [ExportReportWithParametersAndlogonInfo] Error in exporting the report in rpt format.12/4/2020 8:51:34 AM[IFSCRWebSetupIFS9L]-Value cannot be null. The report runs without any issues in Crystal, just IFS is the issue.Regards,Mick.

WO into CO issue in App9

We have a single occurrence where a transfer to a Customer order, of the Work order (with 6 posting lines) has created 6 separate Customer orders. We have never had this occur previously. We are high used of Work orders, with multiple Posting linesAll lines have been posted on the same day,Any heads up would be useful Thank you in advnace/ash

Default packing instruction for Customer Order

Is there anyone to having experience to set up packing instructions for customer order? I try to read help’s but I couldn’t proceed with it. I found the place to set up default packing instruction for customer order and place where crate the packing instruction, but then system require capacity requirement group ID. Where that can be defined and created?

Hi Everyone , What would be the best practice to have the Budgetary control in place for the work order activates for any customer that is on Apps 10 and doesn't use IFs Projects , assume we have to have a yearly budget and every transaction is counting against the budget placed on the beginning of finical year.any thoughts ….

Aurena - ReadOnly Projection

In Aurena, i grant Training Event function (TrainingEventsHandling Projection) as read-only but the +/ edit /delete buttons are still available !once choosing ‘add’: The user will be allowed to enter all fields before a message 'No Access granted' will pop-up once he try to save it .why they are not disabled/invisible same as in Enterprise Explorer ? i have this problem in many functions ... any help will be much appreciated

Aurena Document Attachments Page Configuration

Dear all,we are using Aurena as approval dashboard, to approve invoices, expenses and POs. The dashboard is being used by people who are not ordinary IFS users, so some screen parts might be confusing for them if too many details and/or options provided on the page.One of the sections which has some space for improvement/simplification is document attachment section, on the following screenshot. We would like to hide/rename some buttons there, but we have not found any possibility to do it via page designer.Is anybody aware how to reach page configuration for document attachments?Is there any possibility to switch the appearance of file attachments in Aurena in a similar way as in EE on the screenshot below?

Mass Update button

On the Tech Portal, I am using the ‘Mass Update’ button on the Task list screen to update tasks in bulk. The issue I have is not being able to ‘save’ the changes to this list. I have tried saving changes via the client script attached to the button, and also via a ‘Save’ button on that screen, nothing works. Anyone know why? or have an example of how to use the ‘Mass Update’ button feature?Just to confirm, this is on the Task List (Search results) screen in the Tech Portal, not the Task detail screen which shows the details of the one selected task.

Hi, Is there a smart way of reseting some predefined presentation objects in the personal profiles to the base profile for certain users( based on position codes for example)? I am thinking about doing this by scripting. Just wondring if there is some built in functions or a smart way that can be helpful.

Get Customer Name – Report Rule

Hi,With a Report Rule I want to put the name of the Customer on the name of the PDF report Customer Order Confirmation. So that instead of a random number, the CO Confirmation has the Customer’s name.It worked for the Purchase Order, with the Suppliers name, but I don’t know how to get the name of the Customer. This is what I have so far: CO Confirmation - [&Cust_Ord_Customer_API.Get_Name('[@CUSTOMER_NO]')]What do I need to change? And also a second question, For our own administration I want to mail Project Invoice to the Current User by using a Report Rule.Only thing is, I can’t select ‘USER_EMAIL’ from the Xpath.How can I select the right Email Address matching the Email Address of the Current User? We are on APP10 Update 7. Kind regards, Simon

Application Configuration Package Export Containing Aurena Page Group

I created a custom Aurena Page and added it to an Application Configuration Package. In IEE on the Application Configuration Package screen one of the items in the ACP is of type Aurena Page Group. When I right click on the Aurena Page Group item and select Export Item I get an error message stating: “Error occurred in XML processing”. If I View Detail on the error I see: “Failed executing statement (ORA-19202: Error occurred in XML processingORA-00904: "T"."NAVIGATOR_VISIBLE": invalid identifierORA-06512: at line 15ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_XMLGEN", line 237ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_XMLGEN", line 271”If I remove the Aurena Page Group item from the Application Configuration Package then the Export function for the ACP works. While the Aurena Page Group is an item in the ACP the export fails. I am on IFS 10 update 9. Any thoughts?

Create New Background Job

Hello,A new fellow here with some questions. Your help will be highly appreciated please:1- I am new to creating Background Jobs. The task on hand is to convert all ‘Database Processes’, that are running successfully currently, into Schedule Database Tasks. IFS8.Is there any documentation you can point me to it so i can get started. Scheduling Task looks easy but I am not sure how to connect it to Background Jobs. how can i make this highlighted hyperlink working for my new tasks that i would like to create2- Do we have some fellows around who automated the process of Activating and Deactivating Scheduled Tasks. we have several tasks, about 20, that we manually inactivate in the end of December and Reactivate all of them one by one on our first working day in January. Sounds tedious to me. 3- I see ‘Custom’ in Schedule database task screen. we are not using it at the moment. Is there a formula i can use to Schedule a task to run all 5 days of week every hour from 8AM to 6PM. At present
