Hi everybody, anybody dealed with SigmaNest (or other nesting specialized software) integrated to IFS?Ideally on IFS Cloud (or IFS 10 at least, where is the support of operation blocks). Hi all, does anybody have the practical expirience with UoM different than hours on the level of Work Center? How does it work together with UoM of the manufactured part? What is the impact on the lead time? Is there any documentation on this topic (not just describing that you can fill here different UoM than Hours which is the default)? Is there any typical industry where this setup can be applied?Currently on IFS Cloud 22R2, but accepting any information independently on IFS version:), wondering what was the idea behind in RnD, looking for an acceleration and a decision (applicable vs useless) on this topic and not having so much time to study PLSQL source codes. Thanks in advance. With kind regards,Zdenek
Dear all,I would like to ask you to explain why Project Deliverables does not contain an option for Supply Code = DOP (there are options for pegged Shop Order, pegged Purchase Order, PMRP and MRP only).Project Deliverables is really great mechanism to have everything under one umbrella, but what I am really strongly missing is the functionality to garantee the time dependencies in production planning of particular Shop Orders organized in the multilevel structure like in DOP.We are able to generate independent pegged shop orders connected to given Activity No, but without any connection among them. It means that we cannot garantee by the plan that the finish good will be planned and produced after all its semifinish parts will be planned / finished. Can be easily handled by the time dependency/timelag.I understand that demands of Project Deliverables are connected to activities of the project and we are able to drive the planning partially by the project activity based level. However,
Dear IFS Community,We are looking for the complex solution related to bottom up traceability reflecting serial numbers in IFS9, resp. IFS10 or IFS Cloud. The closest functionality for this request is in the Lot Batch Master, tab Where Used. You can input here the part having specific LOT_BATCH_NO and obtain all parts which could be influenced by this part. Unfortunately, it has one limitation since it is the functionality for the lot batch tracking mainly, it doesn’t consider serial numbers in the connection condition as you can see in the Default Where for this tab:COMPONENT_PART_NO = :i_hWndFrame.frmLotBatchStructureTree.sPartNo AND COMPONENT_LOT_BATCH_NO = :i_hWndFrame.frmLotBatchStructureTree.sLotBatchNoLet’s focus on example with 3 parts:RM Raw Material lot tracking onlySF Semi Finish lot tracking + serial trackingFG Finish Good lot tracking + serial trackingHere is the description how the FG where built and for what result we are loo
