Running Apps 10.We were using 36 forecast periods in the Demand Planning server and importing the same periods into IFS for use with MS1 and MRP. We recently made the decision to reduce the imported forecast periods to 18 months (periods). It is my understanding that this is controlled via the “Date Range” field in the “Import Demand Planning Forecasts” screen. With this range set from today through 6/7/24, IFS is still importing forecast for 36 periods. The demands are also still visible in IPAP through November 2025, even after I recalculate MS1.We’ve tried reducing the number of forecast periods on the demand plan server to 24 months. Importing the forecast data appears to have yielded the same results, with demand still visible through November 2025. Shouldn’t one of these methods reduce the number of forecasted periods in the Exported Forecasts and, subsequently, IPAP? Thanks for any help or feedback you can provide.
Is there a way to have demand planner round the qty numbers that are imported into forecast 0 similar to the way the site setting Qty Calc Rounding works at the site and part level? The parts loaded into MS1 have 16 digits to the right of the decimal point, but the site and parts are set to have a qty calc rounding set to 0.The data in the IPAP screen does not get rounded to 0 either. Please let me know. Thanks for your help.
Is there a way to configure IFS HR/SFR so you can use Shop Floor Work Bench for direct and in-direct shop floor reporting but not have it auto-generate the attend in transaction?Customer is using a separate Attendance system, but wants to use IFS SFR for shop time.Apps 10 Aurena Client. Please let me know.Thanks...
Want to confirm it is NOT possible to add a customer order line with a Supply Code of “Service Order” to an IFS Shipment. The customer order line is a non-inventory sales part. I found it possible to add a non-inventory part to a shipment, but not when the Supply Code is “Service Order”.It appears that way, but need to confirm I’m not missing a setup step. Thanks for your help.
Running Apps 10 update 10. The Demand Planner Server is connected to the client. Data able to be transferred back and forth. The historical demand for a forecast part is not being copied to the client or added to the Forecast Part Historical data tab.I believe I am using the right flow and the historical data is added to the basic data table.I am setting the Aggregation Type to Recalculate historic demand on the Forecast part. Then run the Qualify Part Job. It set the Aggregation Type back to Incremental after the job runs, but no historical data added. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks… DR
