Default object access levels and Restricted access

Hi,I had the previous understanding on default object access levels setting as follows.“Setting Default Object Access Levels is another way of granting permission to the users who are not under "Persons and Groups of a document class with restrictions.For example if User B is not under persons and groups of the document class X but is connected to the object type Project Y, where User A has attached a document from document class X, then what type of access the User B will have on the document attached by user A.So, setting a default object access level will  depend on your requirement for the connected users to an object to access the document and levels of access. (Admin, Edit and View) Ex: Admin Access = "If this check box is selected, this will be the maximum allowed access given to a user with access to an object belonging to the corresponding object type, when this object is connected to a document of the corresponding document class." However when I tested the following scenario

Cost in Transfer Work Orders to Customer Orders - App8

Hi,When a CO line is created by transferring WO to a CO in App 8, a customer is stating that the CO doesn’t have real transaction cost which is shown on work order (or on inventory transaction), but application is calculating cost using average value of inventory stock.In Transfer of WO lines to Customer Order window :Cost Amount : 12.26, 1885.38In Customer Order window: Cost: 0, 3428.77The Customer wants to have the  cost of goods issued on the CO line.Does anybody know functional reason, why the cost of goods issued is not shown in the CO and instead the current inventory cost is shown in the CO?I went to the relevant Work Order> Materials tab and noticed that, 1 qty each have been issued and Issued Cost Amount is the same as the Cost Amount in the Transfer WO lines to Customer Order window.Issued Cost 12.26, 1885.38~~~~~When I went through the Cost column in the CO, the help says, " This is the unit cost for the part."So when I went to the inventory part> Cost tab > Invento

Generating Invoice Preview through Generate Invoice preview Window

Hi, I’m having troubles generating invoice preview for a service contract. The following error message is coming. Want to know the missing steps.  For the service contract I have connected a work order and Sales lines are there for the work order. When I check the invoice preview no invoices has been created for the sales lines either.  Steps. 1. Go to window Generate Invoice preview. 2. Select the customer, site, Service contract pre created.3. Click OK Please help Thank you
