Does anyone have any experience with printing from FSM Mobile? A customer has a requirement to print from their Android device to a mobile printer located in their truck. From within the FSM mobile app, we need to pull the appropriate data from the mobile database and send it to another Android app that is outside of FSM. This must take place on a mobile device so that it works without cell connection.
Hi,I am trying to get receiving ids that have inventory_adjusted set to Y (receiving items that are Posted - Full) to sync to mobile for a mobile customization that I am working on in FSM 6.I have removed some extract restrictions I had previously for the Extract for the RECEIVING table and am getting all the columns for Receiving.I have attached screenshots of the extract and sync rule for receiving. Please see the ownership, initial, and related queries for Receiving below: Ownership Query:<hierarchy_select><primary_table>receiving_ownership_view</primary_table><from><table>receiving_ownership_view</table></from><attrs><attr>receiving_ownership_view.person_id</attr></attrs><where><data_constraint><constraint><left_operand>receiving_ownership_view.receiving_id</left_operand><operator>eq</operator><right_operand>{RECEIVING_ID}</right_operand></constraint></dat
When I run the query “select plan_start_dttm from task where task_id = 8215,” it returns the timestamp in Eastern time, not my local time (which is Mountain standard time). When I view this datetime on the DebriefOverview screen in mobile, then it is displayed in the timezone that my phone is currently set to (in my case, MST). When I run this same query in the smart client, it is returned in my local timezone MST). When I run it in the client script, it is being returned in Eastern time. How is the timezone being retrieved from the server in FSM? What table and field is populated in the database to set the system timezone? For instance, the status_as_of field in the task table is being stored in the mobile database in Eastern time. Where is the timezone being set in the smart client?
I am trying to preview an attachment (word, doc, or pdf) in a view controller. When a place attachment is selected, PlaceAttachment_ViewController should be called and display/preview the selected place attachment. This is working on iPhone 11 and 13 but not iPhone 7 or 8, running iOS 15.5. I have tried using the following approaches to preview an attachment file: QLPreviewController, UIDocumentInteractionController, and UIWebView. Here is sample code that I used for each of those: QLPreviewController: QLPreviewController* ql = [QLPreviewController new];ql.dataSource = self;ql.delegate = self; // [self.navigationController pushViewController:ql animated:TRUE];ql.currentPreviewItemIndex = 0; [self presentViewController:ql animated:NO completion:nil]; - (BOOL)previewController:(QLPreviewController *)controller shouldOpenURL:(NSURL *)url forPreviewItem:(id <QLPreviewItem>)item { return YES;} - (NSInteger) numberOfPreviewItemsInPreviewController: (QLPreviewController

Hi all,I am able to run FSM 5.6.3 iOS application in iOS 13 or lower, but not in iOS 14.It keeps crashing when I tap on the person id or service URL text field on the login screen. When I try to run the app on a device that is running iOS 14, I get the following error message in Xcode: Do you have any idea what might be causing this issue? I am using the same code in FSM 5.7 and the login screen is working fine in iOS 14 for FSM 5.7 iOS app. Also, what is the purpose of the Allow Active Architectures property in the Build Settings? Why is this set to No in FSM 5.7 and set to Yes in FSM 6? Should it be Yes or No for FSM 5.6.3? Is this based on the frameworks that are used in the project (Aviary, Telerik, etc)?
Has anyone here developed iOS apps that support zoom function or larger text sizes? When I increase the text size on the FSM Mobile iOS app, then I cannot scroll down to the bottom text field (task_text.text). Any suggestions? Thanks!
