Hello Everyone,I have added many custom actions to projections without any problem. However, I have this one now that will not populate the parameters that are in the PLSQL. What is really weird is that in the API Explorer it recognizes the parameters. Has anyone seeing something like this and know how to resolve this?I am getting this when I try to call the REST Service as labeled in the API Explorer, passing the parameter, and I can only think it is because the parameter isn’t showing up in the Projection. "error": { "code": "DATABASE_ERROR", "message": "Database error occurred. Contact administrator.", "details": [ { "code": 6550, "message": "ORA-06550: line 2, column 2:" } ] } Appreciate anyone who may have an insight as to what may cause the parameter to not be showing up. Hello Everyone, We are currently on Apps 10 UPD 18. I have my RPL file to generate an XLSX file and it is generating the XLSX file.However, when opening the report we get this error: When clicking Yes we get this: The workbook.xml looks like this and I have boxed what I feel the problem is. So by my understanding it can’t find that definedName and it is removing it. Do I have an issue with my RPL file, is this an IFS bug, or something to do with Excel version? The RPL is using version 8. I don’t know if that means anything internally to the Excel build process. It isn’t hampering the output, it just would be something I’d like to prevent when a user gets the excel file if I can. Thanks in advance.
Hello Everyone,We are on Apps 10 Upd 15 and getting ready to migrate over to using Aurena. We may be some updates behind so maybe this as already been resolved. However, in IEE, when you did a Custom Menu there was a “Condition” section where you could specify under what conditions a RMB was enabled. Is that functionality in Aurena? When I add a Navigation Link and then click on the Navigation Link there are other options such as Binding and check boxes labeled Visible and Enabled. None of which seem to allow for any type of conditions when checked. Our use case for this is on the Inventory Transaction History Form where SourceRef1 could be used for Customer Orders, Purchase Orders and Shop Orders. So we would only have those enabled with the SourceRefType matched to the corresponding RMBs we created. Thanks,Derek Hansen
Hello Everyone, We are on IFS Apps 10 Upd 15 and I am looking at trying to implement some Pages from Projections. I guess I am looking for confirmation that commands can not be displayed on a header, in a Command Group, unless a record is selected, on Custom Logical Unit Projections? I don’t mean an action in a list. This is an action on the header of the page. We have some custom logical units where we need to trigger an action to load data. In this example I do have some pre loaded data. As an example I have this command on this page: And you don’t see the “Download Latest History” Action. However, if I selected a record you can then see the command. Do I have a misunderstanding on how this is supposed to work? In EE, even when there were no records you could do a RMB to trigger an action. I am having a hard time finding a way to make this work in Aurena.Thanks,Derek Hansen
Hello Everyone, Our company will be transitioning over to Aurena over time and I was playing around with projections in one of our test environments. When adding standard entities to other projections it appears as if there is something that allows or disallows Parent/Child Entity Connection. For instance, if I add the PartRevision entity to the InventoryPartHandling projection I am able to see key fields for both such as: However, if I do the same thing by adding the ProdStructure entity to the InventoryPartHandling projection I do not get any key fields for the ProdStructure: Is there some type of dictionary that states what entities can be added to certain projections? Hello Everyone, As I understand, the only way to be able to get a view like REST endpoint is creating a Quick Report . This can then be called through the QuickReports.svc endpoint. This has been working for us but sporadically the quick reports will disappear from the API Explorer Function list. I usually employ the highly intelligent solution of randomly clicking buttons, documenting what I do, to try to get them to show back up in the list. My first attempt is to always Refresh the Dictionary and Report Server Cache. Unfortunately, as expected, I don’t have any real solid evidence as to what gets them back in the list. Maybe this may help someone but this is the error that is returned when a QuckReport is not accesible:RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND Message: Cannot find EntitySet, Singleton, ActionImport or FunctionImport with name 'QuickReport_147084’ These Quick Reports haven’t changed in a long time. Hello Everyone,I have found a couple different threads regarding printing and receiving this “Object reference not set to an instance of an object.” error. Unfortunately I’m not sure that any of those were able to give me a solution.We have a process that is supposed to print a new Crystal report we created. If it runs through the process it receives the error “Object reference not set to an instance of an object.”. However if I then just reprint it sending it to the same printer there is no issue. This can be seen in this screenshot: Would this be some type of permissions issue with the report that I am missing? Hello Everyone,I have created a quick report for use in an Application Server Task. Everything is working fine, but I was curious if in the parameter section is it possible to have a dynamic date for the value? Are there any keywords that IFS recognizes that would allow me to have this report run for data from the previous day?The help at ...ifsdoc/f1doc/Foundation1/040_administration/230_bckgrnd_processing/030_app_server_tasks/default.htm#QuickReport_job_parameters just has “To be written...” so not a whole lot to go off of there.If there is not, the System Info doesn’t have any information regarding that form, but is it possible that there is an API that could be used to update that value?Thanks
Hello,Our current version is Apps 10 Upd 9.I recently created two custom projections to be able to utilize REST to load data. One of them worked flawlessly with no extra interaction. The second one threw a ORA-6550 error. I have confirmed that the _CLP package is created and has the .New__ method. There are no compile errors on the _CLP package or BODY.
Hello everyone,I have recently added an Action to one of our Page Configurations for Aurena. However upon trying to test out the command I get a “RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND Cannot find EntitySet, Singleton, ActionImport, or FunctionImport….” error. This error makes me believe I am missing a step, but nothing else is mentioned in the “Administration Aurena / Configuration Guide / Project Configurations / Custom Action Configuration” help page. Has anyone else had experience with this error or may recognize a step I am missing? Thanks
We are feeling our way around Aurena. This is currently Apps 10 UPD 9. When I am in the Page Designer mode my Page Configuration appears fine:However when I leave the page designer I get this: I have tried unpublishing , publishing, signing off after each change I made and I cant seem to shake this issue. I have granted the projection to a role that I am a part of as well. Has anyone else experienced this?
