Hi all,How can I find the name of the fields I need to reference in ETM via dot notation? For example, if I am in a datamapper where the assyst Resource is Event I would reference the outbound value of the Event id as outbound,self.id. If I want to reference the status I would use outbound.self.eventStatusEnum. This is not obvious to me. I would think it would be outbound.self.status or something similar. What I am looking for is a reference guide or any way to find every attribute of every object.Thanks.Trevor
Hi all, Within my ETM import I am checking to see if there is a Linked Item Group associated with an Incident (Event). If not it will create one. This is working as expected. Then I am trying to link an Item to the Linked Item Group but it fails with the error “You are not permitted to perform this action. Type: PrivilegeException.”.mapAndPost Assyst REST Exception: Error invoking create on linkedItem with body. The ID I am using is an Admin ID and I use the same one to create items and Products within the same import channel / datamapper with no issue. I have confirmed the linked Item Group was successfully created and can be referenced via the Id and that the item exists and can be referenced via the Short Code. See images below. Can anyone think of a reason this would fail? Am I missing another required field upon creation that may cause a privilege error? Thanks for your assistance!Trevor
Hi all,Is there a way to copy existing datamappers? I have an existing datamapper and need to create two new ones and they are almost identical. Re-entering them all manually will take hours. Unfortunately. I cannot combine the functionality of all three into the original. Thanks!Trevor
Hi all, I am trying to reference an incident (Event) in ETM via the Event Ref and Event Type field (I cannot use the Event ID) but ETM keeps throwing an error … The database and the wiki appear to show the int 4 as a valid value. The domain model refers to getEventTypeEnum. Can anyone tell me what is causing this error? Thanks!Trevor
Hi all, I am looking for the javadoc domain model for the 11.6 release. It used to exist for the 10SP7 release here ...https://wiki.axiossystems.com/assyst10SP7Wiki/javadoc-domain-model … but it is no longer available. I tried https://wiki.axiossystems.com/assyst11-6Wiki/javadoc-domain-model/ based on the 11.6 Wiki URL but no dice.I tried searching different combinations of domain model and by navigating the site but no luck. Thanks!Trevor
Hi all, I am using a ‘throw new Error’ piece of code in my ETM datamapper to force a failure when there is no record match when processing an excel file. This allows me to append a custom message to the end of the error log dump in the email instead of using the ‘No match - Error’ on the Record to Update which just shows a generic message with no detail. It does what I want it to do but in the email message generated it is prefixed with the usual dump. Two questions … Is there a way to just show my custom message? Or a completely different way to accomplish this. Is there a way to throw an info or warning message which will not stop processing so I can provide some additional information in the email as well. Thanks!T
Hi all,I’m pretty sure this is a No, but I will ask anyway ...Is there any way for ETM to ignore rows above the header row in the import file when processing? So my file looks like … I am guessing it will have to be manually cleaned before importing into ETM but I was hoping there might be a workaround. Thanks!Trevor
Hi everyone, I need to update a record in ETM based on a custom form field. In the below example the custom field is called ASSET-TAG. It first searches for a Serial Number and if not found I want to search by the custom ASSET-TAG field. Is this possible? Thanks.T
Hi all, Within a datamapper is it possible to know when the last record is being processed? Thanks.T
Hi all,I have an input file with multiple records containing a remarks field. I need to update the same, existing Remarks (Description) field in the CMDB with all of these values. The Remarks field already has existing data. Call it “Test Data”. But I can only get the last record in the input file to append to remarks. So, I have ...Record 1: “This is my note one.”Record 2: “This is my note two.”Record 3: “This is my note three.”It will retain the original value but only copies the last record. It shows up as this “Test Data. This is my note three.”I’ve tried messing with outbound.remarks and outbound.self.remarks but I cannot get it to work.Your help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!T
Hi everyone, When processing an ETM input file with multiple records is it possible to kick off a a datamapper only once after the last record is processed? Thanks!
Can I use a network drive as the source configuration directory for an ETM import rather than a local folder? I keep getting an error so I was hoping there was a workaround or config setting to allow this. I need a 3rd party to drop a file in a network folder so ETM can kick off it’s usually processing of an import file. Is there any other simple solution for this? Thanks!T
