Good day, Is it possible to do an Item Search on a custom field in assyst, using the Item Monitor, to find Items that do not have a date specified? A search with a blank date returns an error, which leads me to wonder if this search should normally work. assyst Version: assyst 11.4.1 Build: 12405 Date built: 07 February 2022 06:15:33 Thanks,…Donovan
Good day,We’ve been looking to import data into custom fields on Items. The wiki is very, very detailed for the Data Mapper, but there does not appear to be an example of how to update the value of a shared field (let alone, in our case, a single lookup field).Below is what we had come up with. assystETM recognizes our custom Item field, RESOLUTION-PROGRESS, but we do not know how to tell it to import the data for that field, as there are no fields to specify this. Clearly, we are missing something. Can anyone give us a hint or direct us to an example for updating custom item fields? Really appreciate it,...Donovan
Hopefully this is an easy one: How can I request a match on the Name of the Single Select Lookup instead of it’s Shortcode? In this example, we can match application-subdomain, a Single Select Lookup, based on Shortcode, without issue. The wiki makes reference to things like .singleSelectValue.name but I’ve not been able to figure out the appropriate code for the left-hand side of the assignment in order to perform the lookup based on the Name value of the Single Select lookup field. Are there more examples of this somewhere? Or is it always based on Shortcode and I need to use a lookup table? 😀 Thanks so much,...Donovan
Good day, As we’ve continued to improve the quantity and quality of the application data held in our CMDB, we’ve added additional fields to our Item form. We want to be able to import data to these new fields to support decision making for risky applications, etc. When we upgraded to assyst 11.4.1, we gained the ability to use assystETM, which is great. In looking at the DMW interface, it appears there is no way to create/update customized fields. I am wondering if perhaps I am overlooking something, or if there is another recommended way we can mass import data (usually as a one time thing to move towards keeping the information updated in assyst). Thanks so much,...Donovan
Good day, We upgraded recently and the address headings are gone from Section, Section-Department and possibly other places. This can be confusing when the form is blank and will be especially so for new staff, as we enter the street address on the second line and the Postal Code is in the position we would normally associate with the province, which will likely lead to data entry errors over time. assyst v11.4.1assyst v10 SP7.5How might we get these back? Support was contacted and we were informed this was intentional because it matched the image in the wiki for the Item form… Have a great day,...Donovan
Good day,When exporting an assystETM configuration, a zip file is created of the individual JSON files, which is convenient. When I attempt to import the zip file on a refreshed Staging server or into Production, I receive an error message, which suggests this is not supported:Failure assystETM-configurations.zip import failed. Reason: Unexpected character ('{' (code 123)): was expecting double-quote to start field name at [Source: (String)"{{= « string of high-ASCII characters » [truncated 28873 chars]; line: 1, column: 3]If I unpack the zip file, I am left with 19 individual JSON files, a number which will continue to grow. This is a big concern, as the Import dialog will not allow me to select more than one file at a time. Is there another way the configuration can be exported/imported in bulk? Thanks,…Donovan Name Version Axios assyst :: Integrations Framework :: Authentication 1.0.2 Axios assyst :: Integrations Framework :: Bonding Service JPA 1.0.2 Axios assyst :: Integr
In our efforts to keep assyst in sync with other systems, some have already been using the Item_ID for this, and they’ve found it by looking at the end of the URL of the current Item page. We are wondering if it possible to display the current item’s item_id directly on the Item form using Customizer to make this a bit more user friendly. Thanks,...Donovan
Good day,We have several applications (9) that are all part of one shared system. The support team is looking for the ability to log an Incident that would flag all of the shared applications as being down. Presumably, the intent was, if clients call our Service Desk and report an issue with Application A, they want Service Desk to be alerted to the fact that this application is down due to the core service issue affecting all of them.Initially, we thought we could a use separate CI that would represent the core service. Then, using Item Relations, we would link them together (and also be able to illustrate the dependencies in Impact Explorer). Unfortunately, it does not appear to be possible to flag all of the applications as being down.Does anyone have any ideas or experience as to how we could possibly fulfill this request?Thanks!...Donovan
