In our efforts to keep assyst in sync with other systems, some have already been using the Item_ID for this, and they’ve found it by looking at the end of the URL of the current Item page.

We are wondering if it possible to display the current item’s item_id directly on the Item form using Customizer to make this a bit more user friendly.

Thanks,

Hello Donovan,

Using the Customiser, you could rename one of the fields with to store the item ID.
https://wiki.axiossystems.com/assyst11-6Wiki/index.php/Installation:Database_Table_-_item_(Items)

Currently you will have to enter manually the item id value to that designated field.

However this looks like an interresting suggestion to me.

You can log this in the ideas area below and this will allow the customer community to see the suggestion and comment/vote on it.

Before saving your idea, enter "assyst" in both the Product Area and Tags fields, to ensure that your idea is registered under the IFS assyst category

Kind Regards
Caroline
