Hi, We are having ongoing issues with our Honeywell android devices running IFS Aurena Scan It 10.We’ve completed a wifi survey and there have been not dropped packets or connection seems good. Error examples areAn error has occurred - initCommand: Failed to read value from SiteVirtualStructVar.ContractOne or more errors occured. (Function<GetDataCollectionProcessOnline>:Failed to assign a value to Result. Value = ‘True’)Action<StartSession>:Failed to assign value to result. Value=’True’ This can be when they have just completed a Move Handling Unit process and then attempt to do it again. It can also occur when they complete a process, put the gun down to perform the manual task and on resuming using the app get a load of errors. Any help or troubleshooting tips would be much appreciated. I’ve attached some screen shots. Our IFS tas server is hosted by IFS. Thanks, Fiona :)
Hi, we just updated to IFS update 15. When we now perform our Register Arrival process in wa da coChoose Source RefChoose Receipt ReferenceChoose Part NoChoose Handling Unit Type IDQTY to Receive (e.g. 1) – works on first loop, when you move to #2 if you enter the same qty (e.g. 1) it errors and jumps to the GS1 Barcode 3 screen. If you put a different quantity it moves to #3.Prior to the update this worked as expected. Now we are getting a GS1 Barcode 3 error but this screen should be hidden from view.I’ve checked the config against the previous version and it hasn’t changed. Screen shots attached
Hi IFS Community, Is it possible to extract a record from IFS showing how many times our Scan IT devices are timing out rather than being logged out by the operator?IFS Aurena Scan IT 10 v 10.15.1368.0IFS 10 Many thanks, Fiona :)
We move HUs from location GO to location LS using the Wadaco process Move_Handling_Unit. At the moment our operators do a visual check and sign the HU label to say its been matched with what’s on their HU.Is it possible to add a step in the process where the user has to scan the finished goods barcode then scan the HU label to make sure they match up? Scan HU label, scan FG barcode and check that EAN matches, if it does match move to To Location screen if it doesn’t throw up an error. Thanks, Fiona
Hi, after creating a customer order , releasing it, going to the quick order flow screen and reserving stock via manual reservation then create a picklist we then move to Wadaco to complete the picking. We enter the order no, part no, loc no, barcode no then we are asked the quantity which is autofilled with the reservation qty. When we click save we get an error ‘picking failed due to insufficient available stock. This stock has an availability control on it. If we remove this, it works. When we try the same picking on EE with the same availability control it works and pick completes. Attached some screen shots of the issue. Many thanks for your support
Hi ,I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with using IFS Aurena Scan It on android scanning devices in a warehouse? We are really struggling to provide our end users with a stream less experience and they are opting to use the PC rather than the scanning devices. Do you get your users to log on as themselves or provide generic accounts? Is there an easier way to login rather than entering username and password every time? How do you prevent your users from logging onto more than one device? Are you users expected to log out multiple times a day? Do you devices auto log out after 5 minutes of idle time? Any tips would be much appreciated, Thanks so much,Fiona :)
