Hello, We are currently using IFS Cloud, 22R2, how can we limit users from creating Credit/Correction invoices but grant that ability to others? We have granted read only access for CreditInvoiceHandling and the correction invoice projection, but users can still create these invoices. Thanks,Bryan
Hello,What is the purpose of the expiration date for Business Opportunities? Do they auto close once they go past the expiration date? if not, how do I get them to automatically do this? I have a scheduled database task that uses the “Set_Closed” method of the Business Opportunity API but I cannot set this to only occur when the Expiration date = SYSDATE. This results in an error that makes IFS think the opportunity is already deleted, because its not coming up with a result. Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Bryan
Hello,On IFS Cloud, I am currently attempting to take a custom field I created, and populated with data, on the CustomerInfo entity, and have that appear on the Lead - CRM as well as the Opportunity - CRM page. I have attempted to create custom attributes for the BusinessLead/BusinessOpportunity entity that references the custom field I created for CustomerInfo, which, using page designer, appears on the page, but sadly it does not populate with any data. I have also created a projection that takes the CustomerInfo/BusinessLead entities and maps them together by the CustomerID, but doing so does not help as this new Projection is not tied into the BusinessLead page. In the Configure standard projection page, I cannot search for the CustomerInfo entity, to tie it to the BusinessLead entity, as it does not appear. How exactly can you pull a custom field into a page that has a different entity?
Hello,I would like to set up a process that notifies the customer that their Business Opportunity is going to expire in a week, 5 days, 3 days, and when the BO has actually expired. I can set up an event action to handle when a field has changed… so I’m thinking about having a daily database task that updates a custom field that represents how many days until this BO expires, and basing the event off of that.My only issue is the email portion, for the Business Opportunity, the contact email is not available for the entity. How can I set this up so that field appears on the BO? Obviously IFS has the entity connection set up since the Contacts appear on the BO page, but I cannot access that BusinessObjectContact entity from the BO entity, to add in a custom field that references the email. How should I approach this? Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Bryan
Hello, I would like to export a quick report we have that was made with crystal reports and uploaded to one of our environments for IFS Cloud. It’s a .rpt file but when I go to export the quick report, it gives me an XML file. The reference of this quick report has the crystal report file listed, but I can’t do anything with the filename. Are quick reports stored somewhere differently than how Operational Reports store their report layout files? Thanks,Bryan
Hello,I’ve been looking for so many ways to execute a workflow on a daily schedule for IFS Cloud. There have been some IFS Employees that have mentioned that they don’t know how to, but I still want to believe there is a way to do this. I am trying to close expired Business Opportunities and Sales Quotations by running a workflow I built. I also would like to send an email out when Sales Quotations and Business Opportunities are 7, 5, or 3 days away from expiring. Is there any way to accomplish this? It seems like IFS Cloud is so limited in what you can do. In Apps10 you had some workarounds for accomplishing this but it seems like there is no way to do this in IFS Cloud. Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Bryan
